The Talbot offers accommodations in Knightwick. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. Each room is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Proper old country pub. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good food and great range of beers brewed on site. Weather too wet for us to enjoy the riverside beer garden but it looked lovely. Rooms a little dated but for me that just added to the charm. The bed was very comfy and the shower was great.
Purpose of my visit was to see the village where my ancestors lived between 1770 and 1850s. Obviously much has changed, but the church and the Lion Inn are still there. Lovely village with old features and buildings standing alongside more modern additions to create a charming, peaceful environment
