The atmosphere of this place is really cool, lively bar and love the quirky features in the rooms. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and breakfast in the morning was delicious and very good quality, loved that you could choose how you wanted your eggs. Despite the lively atmosphere downstairs in the evening, my room was peaceful and couldn't hear downstairs at all. Check in and check out were both easy and appreciated that the invoice for my trip was emailed to me straight away saving me from chasing up afterwards. My room had a beautiful bathroom with lovely bathtub and shower. Bed was huge and mattress very comfy but the pillows were quite hard.

We were a big wedding party so we were all accommodated across the cottages and hotel which was great. Large, comfortable bedrooms. Easy parking. Bikes for rent. Wish we could have enjoyed the property a bit more but we were out for most of the day. Thank you for posting the items we left behind; we really appreciate it.

Very good staff who looked after us well. A very comfortable spacious room and bed with a great view facing the hillside.
A very good meal in the evening and an extremely tasty breakfast - it couldn't have been better value for money!
Nice enough town, plenty of shopping places. Handy as a base to explore 30 minutes from the coast. Most eating places are closed early in the week so you need to travel out of town unless you like curry or £30+ per head meals. Transport links a bit disjointed due to major road closures.

Crewkerne is a medium size market town with beautiful buildings. It has only one hotel and that is the Crooked Swan Inn which is highly recommended.
The town has all the other services to make a pleasant stay.

Crewkerne was ok.
Crewkerne was ok. We only stay there because it was the closet town to a venue we were attending. My only issue is that it is difficult to get a meal in Crewkerne on a Sunday evening - only one option really

The place didn't really match the website.
The place didn't really match the website. Its really needs upgrading. Coming up to the front we passed it thinking it was an empty run down pub . Chalets are OK. Mis matched bedding but clean. Noisy workers next door for the last 2 nights. Didn't see any other families there .got the feeling just used for contractors and workmen .such a shame the place could be made beautiful if effort put into it

A market town that is easy to get around.
A market town that is easy to get around. Lots of characteristic buildings with a fabulous old church which is well worth a visit. Crewkerne is situated in South East Somerset, close to West Dorset and East Devon. There are several brilliant places to visit such as Montacute House (NT) and Forde Abbey as well as a 40 minute drive to beautiful Lyme Regis. The towns roads can get a bit busy as it sits on the A30. Street parking is generally limited to 2 hours, but there are a few public car parks and these offer generous fees at just £2.15 per day. Look out for the numerous blue plaques on buildings that tell stories and the history associated with the place.
The room was very clean and the staff were very professional. The accommodation is quite basic but nothing was lacking. They responded quickly to my queries and provided an iron and hairdryer on request. My experience was wholly positive- especially welcome after experiences elsewhere in Crewkerne.
Convenient location in Crewkerne town centre. Lovely little flat which is well appointed and good facilities. Nice quiet courtyard location. Friendly neighbours! Nice snacks and coffee / teas / water provided. Good to have fridge freezer.
