Such a cute little place to stay if you have an early morning flight at Stansted! The place was spotless and even had some snacks/drinks you could buy. Just make sure you book a taxi to the airport in advance as Uber is not available out there and a lot of taxis were booked up.

Check-in smooth and efficient, the staff were really friendly and helpful both at checkin and checkout. Room was really pleasant, nice size and comfortable. Walking distance to the aiport. Breakfast was great and was available from 4am so perfect for early flights. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

My friend and I really liked how close the accommodation was to the airport. After our flight had been delayed and we didn't arrive until the early morning it was easy to book and super convenient to get to. On arrival the receptionist was super helpful and very friendly. Comfy bed and very tidy facility/room.

I had a wonderful experience at Stansted Lodge Elsenham.

I had a wonderful experience at Stansted Lodge Elsenham. Communication with the owner was swift and very helpful. I arrived late at night, and due to a road closure, I struggled to find my way. The owner quickly sent directions, making the process much smoother. The room was spotless, warm, and quiet, perfect after a long journey. Free parking was provided in a spacious, well-lit area secured by CCTV, adding extra convenience. The next morning, the owner went the extra mile to help with transport, which I truly appreciated. The location is peaceful yet close to the airport. I will definitely be staying again and highly recommend it for a stress-free, comfortable stay with excellent service!

Food was not bad but don't think they cooked it. Think it could have been a takeout bought in. The hotel is having a make over so should not be used. Also I think other people were living there......

Bed was very comfortable and facilities in the room were good. Atmosphere in the public area (dining and bar) was a little lacking. Seating for a group of four having drinks just didn't exist - we ended up sitting on two settees that were alongside each other, ie four people sitting in a long line rather than facing each other. A few moveable chairs that could be used to create more of a 'group' setting would be a great improvement.

Quiet, small, comfortable self contained village. it has a Tesco Express open till 23:00 a Fish and Chip Shop and a pub called the Crown with a large garden where you can also get food. We bought our evening meal at the Fish and Chip shop (good average quality) and got what we needed for a very nice Breakfast at our shared kitchen, self-catering accommodation at the Tesco Express. The village is well kept and tidy and has some interesting little onuments.

This was disappointing .

This was disappointing . Tired, damaged rooms and a break fast with no choice and not even asked what we wanted. Nothing different for 10 and 8 year old children either. Damage to walls and taps which fired water everywhere. I wouldn't recommend.

Fantastic place, we felt like in a luxury hotel. Clean, modern, comfortable, well looked after. Communication is timely and smooth, check in and check out were smooth . There is a small playground across the road if you have little ones to entertain. TV works - just need to push a button on the TV set itself . The area is quiet but close to Stansted. We would stay again if we needed to spend a night before the flight.

Excellent location for visiting friends nearby, lovely little town. Room was clean and comfortable, perfect for what we needed. Ample dedicated parking spaces very useful. Small issue with check in (not a fault of hotel) was dealt with extremely quickly and efficient buy helpful staff. We would definately book again for the night.

Location was good for the airport which is why we stayed overnight due to the flight times and possibility of traffic on our route to the airport mainly the M25. We opted not to have breakfast at the hotel and eat later on at the airport after the check ins.
