Probably the best accomodation I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. I only need the basics when working away from home but this exceeded my expectations. From my arrival to when I left everybody was seriously friendly and helpful, very comfortable room, excellent WiFi, impressive evening meals and rounded off by a superb breakfast. I might be able to revisit very soon, looking forward to it.

This is a quiet wee place but with plenty on it's doorstep...

This is a quiet wee place but with plenty on it's doorstep and the town of Buckie for anything you'd need nearby. We found the locals cheery and friendly, natural and down to earth. A shout out to both Linda's Fish and Chip Cafe and the Royal Oak in Cullen, both in their own way spot on for service and quality fare.

Findochty is a lovely quiet town, right down on the Moray...

Findochty is a lovely quiet town, right down on the Moray Firth Coast. It is close to slightly larger towns such as Buckie and Cullen if you need more shopping and other facilities. Since it's on the coast you can great views of the Moray Firth (weather-permitting) and it's reasonably close to a wide range of cultural and out-door activities. The Speyside distilleries are about 45 minutes away.

A lovely small village within good hiking distance to...

A lovely small village within good hiking distance to surrounding villages. If you are a walker and don't mind a two to three hour hike this is an ideal location to visit surrounding villages. A wonderful escape from the hustle of city living.
