The accommodation was exceptionally clean and the hostess was fantastic. Many special touches were added to make the room feel like home. We’ve been traveling for a couple of weeks so far and this is our very favorite property. Highly recommend!

The village is small and peaceful.

The village is small and peaceful. It has 2 stores, postal service, a few bistros/ pubs that serve food and drinks. A great coffee shop just at the end of the village (The Mountain Coffee Company). We ate at The Milly Bar ( just around the corner) with an quaint pub and a decent restaurant- it us part of the hotel so reservation is recomended.

If you are looking for a great quirky and traditional...

If you are looking for a great quirky and traditional Scottish Highlands golf course, make the detour to Gairloch. The town is charming with a fascinating hinterland - but you will never forget the golf course - rated in the top 25 9 hole courses in the world. £25 is a steal.

well worth the journey to get there.

well worth the journey to get there. It is also a very good place to explore. It is very easy to get around, the people we met were very friendly. Very relaxing atmosphere, you can do as much or as little as you like.

We enjoyed visiting the water fall and walking in the woods...

We enjoyed visiting the water fall and walking in the woods and along the coastal path. We had tea and cake at the golf club. They were absolutely wonderful. They allow dogs in too. We highly recommend a visit, even if you don’t play golf. The Old Inn pub was very welcoming too. Especially if you have dogs. The mountain coffee shops and book shop was excellent too.

A lovely little harbour village from our experience.

A lovely little harbour village from our experience. Lovely surroundings and a handy little general store, along with access to boat hire and trips etc. we were passing through as an overnight stay on the NC500 experience, and it was an ideal stop over.

A bit difficult to say as the recent storm was in full flow by the time we arrived but it was still a beautiful place. A great location for those who like the outdoors and also for those who enjoy the natural beauty. There are a number of restaurants and the museum is well worth a visit.

Tracey has been an absolutely fantastic host, we could not have wished for a better one! Thank you so much for making our stay on the West Coast so wonderful. The rooms are beautifully decorated, very well set and very clean. The beds were super comfortable and made for a great night's sleep. The guest lounge and facilities are very comfortable with a superb view over Gairloch Bay. We will make sure to be back. Thank you Tracey!

We picked this hotel as it was on the NC500. It had parking and walking distance to other places in Gairloch. The room was clean and had all the standard amenities for a 3 star hotel. The coffee machine at breakfast made good Americano. Staff were helpful and friendly.
