Located in Holt, 12 mi from Cromer, Keepers Cottage Guest House provides a garden and free WiFi. The bed and breakfast offers a continental or buffet breakfast. We had a fantastic stay at Keepers Cottage Guest House. It's testament to the wonderful hospitality and comfort that even terrible weather didn't spoil our visit. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the breakfast was really delicious with lots of thoughful touches like home baked pastries. In terms of the current situation, Andy and Steve made us feel perfectly safe without it feeling like a sterile experience. Everything is immaculate and tasteful but at the same time, homely. Would definitely visit again. Very kind and generous hosts and we would highly recommend it for a stay in North Norfolk.

Like many, we have visited the coast and not stayed inland in the past. What a delight to discover Holt. It is a small market town with plentiful independent shops. Go here for craft, food, antiques, presents and gifts, deli, old vinyl records, bric-a-brac and many more. There are a couple of pubs and a craft beer place. Not pedestrianised so may be a bit chaotic when busy. The restaurant offer did not seem as good as it could be, but several good places around and about Holt.
Picturesque village with great food and lots of craft stores. Our only gripe was people were very zealous about covid restrictions - many of the shops insisted on mask wearing, sanitiser and only a couple of people at a time. This was quite off-putting and long after the rest of the country has gone back to normal
Holt is lovely town with many amenities-many cafes/pubs/vintage shops and craft/gift shops and great fish and chips at Erics! Great food at The Kings Head - book in advance advised. Bakeries in abundance and all very good for cake and coffee stops whilst browsing all the stores.
Lovely Georgian Town but very very busy even on a rainy October Tuesday, Parking is disproportionately expensive and in short supply. Very little local authority parking has allowed commercial operators to charge up to £2 an hour 24/7 so you can easily rack up £50 for a weekend stay. Personally I wouldnt stay in the town but would find a hotel with parking and visit as required. Lots of restaurants, cafes, bars and boutique shops, lovely atmosphere
I think that Holt is a very nice town. It has some lovely shops & good places to eat, although quite expensive. We found it difficult securing reservations for an evening meal. We managed to eat in Holt just twice, the remainder of the time we had to travel out of town to eat. I would suggest that anyone travelling to Holt books meals ahead.
Very busy during the day very pretty good costumer service from everyone. Can be difficult to park a car and there aren’t many open spaces to eat your own lunch. Lots of places to eat some busy some you have to book the evening meal.
Holt
Menu provided for cooked breakfast so personal choice made night before. In addition yoghurt, cereal and fresh fruit available for individual to choose as they wish. All included in the B&B price. Due to COVID everything served by host and no contact with other guests. We love being in a rural area so lovely and quiet but only 2 miles from the town of Holt which We visited for evening meals etc.
A lovely B&B in a countryside location not far from Holt. The attention to detail was superb from the cake on arrival to the thoughtful touches I.e. biscuits, fresh fruit and toiletries. Sally certainly makes you feel at home and cooks a fantastic breakfast. Will definitely stay again next time we’re in Norfolk. Cannot rate it highly enough!
After a trip around Scotland and the North of England staying in a variety of hotels, the breakfast at Keeper Cottage was by far the best we had by a long way. Everything in the guest house is up to a very high standard. We especially liked the friendly, homely atmosphere of the place.
