Lovely newly-decorated and spotlessly clean historic inn, nice bar, good food, friendly staff, tasty breakfast at their sister property a block away. Really central location. Parking in public carpark two blocks away.

I'm from Japan and was traveling alone. I met three members of the hotel staff, and all of them were very kind and welcoming even to a foreign traveler like me, which made me feel very comfortable during my stay. The room was quite small, but still very comfortable. There was a kettle and a variety of teas provided in the room, which I really appreciated and found very helpful.

Not sure where the 5.9 rating is coming from – I honestly can’t agree with it. The staff were absolutely lovely and super helpful. Great, quiet location with a nice pub and kitchen, plus a playground right next to the property. Dog friendly too! Rooms were clean and spacious, and it’s all very budget-friendly. Maybe it’s under new management, don’t know. Either way, the place is brilliant now.

Fab location, a vwey short walk away from clarks village. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Lovely place to be able to take the dog who was given lots of attention and they were able to seat us (away from the food) to enjoy Breakfast with the dog. Lots of parking spaces. The rooms are brilliant size and was able to accommodate my mums mobility scooter still with plenty of room.

The property was clean, tidy and warm. It was really nice to see variety of drinks in the fridge, and fruits and biscuits were also available. The living room window overlooks the ducks and it was joy to watch them play in the water. It is evident that the host cares about their guests. I had interaction with three people and everyone was polite and nice, ensuring that i enjoyed my stay. If in the area i would highly recommend staying here.

The location is absolutely beautiful. The host was amazing. Helped us with ironing very early in the morning. That was so nice and kind of them. The bed, pillows and the duvet was the most wonderful and comfortable ever. The bathroom so cozy and beautiful made. I really enjoyed staying there. The breakfast in the morning was very nice indeed. Thank you very much.
