In Falkirk’s countryside, 14th-century Airth Castle Hotel enjoys a peaceful setting. Once owned by the family of Robert the Bruce, it has a luxury spa, an elegant restaurant and stylish rooms. Accommodations were great. We needed an extra bed in the room, and they provided us with a comfortable cot bed. Breakfast was amazing! It included haggis and even black pudding, very traditional from Scotland.
Located in Culross, stay bed and breakfast has a garden and free WiFi. All guest rooms at the guesthouse are equipped with a seating area. Elaine was delightful. She gave us a number of suggestions as to places to visit and things to do. We took her advise and very much enjoyed our stay in Culross. The took about 45 minutes out of her day to visit with us and acquaint us with the area. Can't say enough good about our experience!
The Leapark Hotel is a family-owned hotel in the historical port of Grangemouth, within 3 miles of The Kelpies and 7 miles from the Falkirk Wheel. Stirling is a 25 minutes' drive away. Very helpful staff,always had a smile.Close to many attractions.Breakfast was hot and cooked nice.Very quiet at night so had good sleep.

Host left little touches like a bottle of wine, box of chocolates, bread, milk and fresh orange juice. Property close to swing park and local pub which serves lovely food (the pies are amazing).
Near attractions such as The Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel, Stirling Castle,. A short 25 minute drive from Ingliston Park & Ride, made it very convenient to park our car and take the tram to Edinburgh City Centre.
