Everything is just fine and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. O have stayed there several times and every time you're greeted like an old friend. If you don't want to stay in busy Stirling and don't mind a short commute, 1 train stop, this is ideal location. And a lot cheaper than many Stirling Hotels. Some nights they have different groups using the facilities and when I was there it was the fiddlers playing. Regular bus services to Stirling and further afield. If you're into history like me I suggest a trip to Larbert Old Parish Churchyard, graves from 1600s and you'll likely to be met by a friendly deer sitting at the rows.
A very quiet neighborhood with nice and friendly people. Shopping is fun with ASDA Superstore opening until 10pm. Neat environment and efficient bus service.Midway between Edinburgh and Glasgow means killing two birds with one stone.
Didn't really spend much time in the town, but it was great for getting around to the likes of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and the Trossachs by train. There was an Indian restaurant not too far away but we didn't use it.
Apart from an excellent meal at the local Indian Restaurant I could find nothing of interest in Larbert. When my business was finished I had time for a coffee before the train and could not even find a coffee shop so, ended up going into Stirling for one. It's not that the place is untidy/rundown or anything like that. It's just dead!
Good train service with excellent restaurants and bars. Stayed in the Station Hotel, right next to the train station. Good value for money and whisky lovers will love their selection in the bar. Eat at the Tea House and had one of the best Chinese meals in years.
