The hospitality of the staff was exceptional and the many public rooms, terrace and garden are exceptionally beautiful. The location across from the race course and within a lovely short walk into town, it has a unique and lovely quiet situation. Rooms overlooking the race course have binoculars for viewing the races! The homemade Cartmel flapjacks provided in the rooms are heaven.

Our room was fabulous. Full River view out of two windows. Windows also offered great ventilation. Room was very quiet. shower was great and everything was spotless. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming, and the pub service both drinks and food was excellent. There are a few really cute gift shops and a place for a coffee down the street. Will definitely stay again if we are ever in Arnside.

Excellent 3 bed cottage in a brilliant location.

Excellent 3 bed cottage in a brilliant location. Really close to Windermere and Cartmel. The cottage has a large reception and dining room. There is an outdoor seated area with lights for sitting out in the evening. On street parking isn't great because of narrow village roads but there is some available. Also a private parking space at the side of the cottage. Bedrooms are all a good size with the double bedrooms both having enough suite shower and toilet. Large main bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine also. Lake Windermere is around 10 minutes drive.

We had a wonderful week at Lindale in the Lake District! The cozy, sleek interior was perfect for two, with a hot tub and a live fire log burner. Despite the cold temperatures outside, the place was warm and homely. Two TVs, a lovely garden/patio, and excellent amenities made our stay even better. The host was friendly and incredibly helpful, providing plenty of towels and top-tier coffee. Highly recommend this beautiful, well-maintained place!

Lovely and cosy with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great to curl up in front of the log burner after a day out exploring. As two couples travelling together we especially liked having the two bathrooms. Beautiful garden and surroundings and great location. Lindale is a lovely little village only a short drive to Grange over Sands with its shops, cafes and restaurants.
