Myself and 20 of my colleagues travelled from Ireland on a Mystery Tour. The hotel were so helpful when I was organising it. They emailed to confirm every thing and ensure I got the rooms I booked for the group. When we arrived, I checked us all in and it was very quick. While every one was waiting, they had some complimentary tea and coffee - which was very welcome as it was baltic outside! The rooms were exactly as they were advertised on the website. Clean, comfortable and comfy! Value for money was brilliant. They had a fridge with lots of different beers and drinks along with some snacks which we were able to enjoy after our night out for a reasonable price. The staff were so friendly and so welcoming and even joined in in an Irish sing song with us! Thank you so much for everything! 100% recommend.

Innside Manchester by Melia는 시내 중심가에 위치해 있으며, 딘스게이트 및 옥스퍼드 로드에 있는 기차역에서 모두 도보로 5분 이내의 거리에 있습니다. 호텔은 피트니스 짐, 사우나, 레스토랑, 바를 보유하고 있습니다. 이 호텔은 현대적인 장식과 밝은 색상으로 꾸며져 있습니다. 호텔 자체가 깔끔하엿고 무엇보다 DEANSGATE역에서 바로 나와서 갈 수 있다는 점이 마음에 들었다. 그리고 호텔 바로 옆은 저녁에 클럽을 운영하고 그 근처가 술집, 펍 등이 많은데도 호텔 내에 있으면 소음도 안 들어오고 조용했다. 아주 마음에 드는 호텔이었다. 조식은 가짓수만 많은 조식이 아니라 그 품질도 훌륭했다. 훈제연어, 치즈, 빵, 과일 등이 신선하게 제공되었다. 1층에 있는 바와 겸하는 레스토랑도 직원들의 안내가 훌륭했고 무엇보다도 이방인이고 영어가 부족한 나도 잘 알아들을 수 있게끔 쉬운 영어로 메뉴 설명이나 고객응대를 해주었다.

음... 거점으로 삼고 주변 도시를 돌아도 되긴 하지만 한번쯤은 맨체스터 시내를 돌면서 맨체스터도 우리나라랑 별반 차이 없고 이 사람들의 평소 생활 모습은 어떤지 느끼는 것도 좋은 것 같습니다. 다만, 밤 늦게 돌아다니는 것은 추천하지 않습니다. 제가 9시 ~ 11시까지 맨체스터 시내를 돌아다녔는데 그 날이 주말이기도 해서 그런지 술 취한 사람들이 자기 본성을 드러내는 경우도 있었고 또 대마초를 피우는 애들이 인종차별적인 행동을 하는 것도 목격할 수 있었습니다. 이건 유럽에서는 당연하지만 밤에는 될 수 잇으면 번화가 밝은 곳으로 다니시되 왠만하면 9시를 안 넘기셨음 합니다.

맨체스터는 중심지에 프리버스가 있어서 무료로 이용할 수 있고요~ 맨체스터 하면 주로 맨유랑 맨시티 경기장 보러 오시는데 트램 하루 종일권이나 주말권 끊으면 저렴하게 마음껏 다닐 수 있어서 좋아요! 이거 하나면 어디든 돌아다닙니다 ㅎㅎ 주면에 역도 많고 자주 다음 트램이 도착해서 오래 기다릴 필요도 없고요!
