Located in Maryport in the Cumbria region, Maryport House provides accommodations with free WiFi. Keswick is 21 mi from the apartment, while Whitehaven is 17 mi away. The service from ash was amazing, he was in contact personally as soon as we booked up. It was very clean and tidy. The beds were very comfy and plenty of room for 2 kids.

Church Cottage is located in Maryport. The accommodations is 25 mi from Carlisle. The location of the property was good. Didn’t have any issues parking. The house overall was comfortable. Communication between the agency staff was great. I never had any issues in talking to them.
The Harbour area is both extensive and interesting. The coastal paths both north and south offer fine views and the opportunity to walk along the beach. If you like walking, Maryport if easy to get around,
Maryport was a lovely seaport town which had a promenade that was clean . The people were friendly and would greet you even if you were a stranger. That was nice. There were lots of places for long walks or for cycling.
I was staying in Maryport as I was walking in the Lakes the next day with an early start, so needed to stay close by. I’d never been here & it did the job for what I needed it to do. Sadly the town was rundown & most places closed (covid might have affected that in all fairness) The town consists of one high street & a harbour. Sadly even the harbour & promenade walk is a bit grim. There is nothing to do here so do not think you’ll even have enough to do for a few days. There’s a few pubs but to be honest one of them looked a bit rough with drunk women smoking outside at 6pm! - I avoided that but settled for a pint in a Jenning pub instead. I’m also convinced there was some blokes drug dealing in the hotel car park when I arrived!! When I met up with my friends who live in the Lakes the next day they told me it’s known as ‘scaryport’ locally! I have no desire to return but if I needed somewhere to stay again in similar circumstances with no other options, I would use the hotel again.
We liked the idea of the Harbour, and the places surrounding it Easy to get around Food options : No Halal food options but plenty vegeterian catering restaurants/takeaways around Next visit I would avoid busy periods
I was born in Maryport but now live in Nottingham. Senhouse street was a lovely street years ago with busy shop’s & cafes. It looks a mess now with empty shops etc. The council need to get a plan put together and revamp Maryport this beautiful place.
Good little town with lots of friendly people. Ideal located closer to see. Keswick, cockermouth and other popular parts of Lake District only a short drive away. Good little spot in north west England
Clean hotel and room was big. Comfortable bed. Staff offered to help take drinks to our room with fruit bowl.
Great place to stay, Value of money. Very friendly staff worth staying there
