Hotel in Nethy Bridge
Nethybridge Hotel is in the heart of the beautiful Cairngorm National Park, a 10-minute drive from the A9 and a 30-minute drive from Inverness. The location is amazing, the room very cozy. What I would suggest is consider in your breakfast some oppition for those, like me, that are vegan. I believe for you guys won't be difficult once I was offered an espetacular dinner.

Not a friendly place would not recommend for a young family. Old building can understand but the corridors were not nice and were smelling of damp unsuitable for a baby. Requested refund but staff were quite disappointing when requested refund said I could not receive as it was too late to cancel. I didnt want to cancel just get out of there. The partition on reception dest fell over when I had just arrived which said a lot about the place
We visited the Information Centre. It was good and informative. And we went for a walk along the river on another occasion. We went to the shop and we visited a cafe where Dorothy looked at the craft work. We used the hotel garden one lunchtime for a snack lunch & used the garden for leisurely strolls. We found all the flowers very beautiful. We ate mostly evening meals at the hotel but on one occasion visited the pizza parlour in Aviemore for an evening meal and on another occasion had a curry at the award winning Indian restaurant in Aviemore. Yes - it is easy to get around Nethhy Bridge. There is nothing we would avoid on our next visit.
Nethy Bridge is a very small and very quiet village. There are some nice walks around the place with a riverside and woodland walk that I tried which were quite pleasant. There is a coffee shop in the village which I didnt try but looks nice. Its a good place to explore the Aviemore area.
Due to restrictions imposed by the coronus virus, eating facilities were very limited, other than that we enjoyed our stay . We went to Nethy Bridge with the intention of bird watching and it was very central to all the places we wanted to go.
Quiet village middle of lovely countryside near enough to the whiskey trail lots of historical sites, outdoor activities near enough the A9 if you want to travel up to Inverness but just far enough away so you are actually in real countryside
The village is gorgeous! Very scenic with great trails for walking at any ability. The Bar food at the Nethy Bridge Hotel is good quality and your standard pub grub! Nethy is easy to walk about and close to loads of other villages and quite close to Aviemore!
