The Laurels B&B is just 2.5 miles from Omagh. It features rooms with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and king-sized beds. The property was renovated in 2019. The B&B was clean and very charming; our bedroom was wonderful but it is the hosts that made our stay very memorable. Joyce and Bill and a great couple, very friendly. the first time we had a full Irish breakfast and it was very delicious.\Thank you so much Bill and Joyce we will definitely recommend your place.

The wee welcome pack is a lovely touch ..you really feel like your staying in a home ,not a rental property. Myself ,hubby and our dogs just love it ,our second stay and already planning our next trip to this gorgeous wee cottage .
Loved staying in Omagh. Friendly market town, full of interesting shops, places and characters. We stayed in Liskelly Park which is 5 minutes walk from the town and ate in the Silverbirch Hotel one of the nights, lovely meal. Great place for a relaxed family visit. Gortin Lakes and Gortin Glen Forest Park are nearby, well worth a visit as is the Ulster American Folk Park. Omagh is also a good base for travelling to Derry and Enniskillen. We did the Culcagh Boardwalk near Enniskillen which is highly recommended.
Omagh is such a pretty town. There are plenty of shops, lovely walks along the river exploring the town, buildings and architecture to look at. Also it is a great base for exploring everything Tyrone and Fermanagh has to offer. Derry and Donegal are accessible from here too. It is a very central spot in the North and the people are friendly. We shall visit again for sure! Attached are pictures of Omagh, Enniskillen Castle, Derry Girls mural (in Derry) and Malin Head in Donegal.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. The lady in the Arts Centre was exceptionally helpful and interested in my personal needs. I would like to return to Omagh and explore more. I would like to stay in the same venue.
Omagh is a very friendly place, ask for directions you might spend 20 mins chatting! Plenty of shops in the high st. you won't see in England. The standard of food in pub and restaurants is high even in under a tenner, often home made. My only dislike is its common not to have prices displayed outside, until you've sat down and see the menu(illegal in England.) Also sometimes many things not priced inside some shops. But still a great place for a holiday.
As it is in the Sperrins Countryside its full of nature on the outskirts of the town. Perfect for walking, stress free feeling. Loads of Restaurants, pubs, shopping to choose from. Plenty of buses to get to other towns etc. Go to The Ulster American Folk Park brilliant we loved it! There will be American Bluegrass Music there which is at the end of August which provides a Marquee with an array of different foods to eat and drink. Brilliant if you love music atmosphere excellent! We stayed at The Arvalee Retreat just 1/2 miles outside the town of Omagh in the countryside. So calming and peaceful. Plenty to accommodate every taste in Omagh.
Stay at the Rooms at Rue. I wouldn't change my mind here. It's perfectly situated and staff were very good. Check out Sean Og's in the precinct. A typical Irish thatched bar so much so that you would think you were in Donegal. Also, Bojan's - a music venue on main street which is great day or night. Finally, the folk park - 5 miles outside Omagh on the Strabane road - but allow at least 3hrs for the visit, Brilliant!
