I chose this place because I needed to be near Purley for a family event, and it fit the bill perfectly. The studio was very clean, modern, and well equipped. It’s tastefully decorated, with a large TV and everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I really appreciated the privacy, set apart in the garden, and the convenience of on-site parking. The host was also lovely – really friendly, helpful, and welcoming.

We wanted a somewhere nice to stay near The living rainforest which we had planned to visit. We both really liked Pangbourne, it is a small relaxing and pleasant area to walk around. We would go back again for sure!

I was in Pangbourne for a family event rather than to explore the town itself, but it made a great base. If you’re visiting from abroad or elsewhere in the UK, it’s ideally located – close to London for easy access, and just minutes from Reading, where you’ll find all the big shops, supermarkets, and anything else you might need. The town itself is charming and quintessentially British, with pretty cottages, lovely countryside, cosy pubs, and a nice selection of local shops and dining options. It would make a perfect peaceful base for visiting nearby places like Windsor, London, Reading, or even Stonehenge and Salisbury, which are just over an hour away.

Arrived at 3 and room still not ready at 5.20 .

Arrived at 3 and room still not ready at 5.20 . Then given the room number 10 and bed not made up as still waiting on laundry. Duvet all stained and room dirty.Asked to see manager and a guy called Ben arrived and said nothing was going to please me … photos will show

Interesting place, will go back.

Interesting place, will go back. Got to swim in the Thames, see the churches, go to Whitchurch, walk along the Thames. Visit Goring. It's a fantastic place for a couple of nights. There is a canoe club and also it's a good place to cycle in.

Pangbourne is surrounded by loverly woods and the River Thames runs close by. The traffic during the day is very heavy and makes walking around the town unpleasant. Oddly there are no pubs on the river. There are som nice walks by the river.

Pangbourne’s become seedy looking, with very few real shops left. All the pubs were either closed to non residents, or closed around 9.00 pm ish; all, except The Swan, we’re closed all Sunday evening! The high street is very noisy and stinks of fumes.

Perfect location for a family get together to visit our son who lives in the area. Pangbourne is a lovely village on the Thames with plenty of places to eat and drink within a 15 minute walk of the house either along the road or across fields. House had plenty of room for 3 generations of family and lovely large garden. The property is well set back from the road with ample of parking for several vehicles.

Characterful traditional inn located in pleasant village of Pangbourne within easy reach of Reading and Thames Path. Unpretentious pub with restaurant. Other eating options and shop in the village. Easy parking. Room had character. Nice shower. On main road but not disturbed by traffic noise. Limited breakfast options but decent cooked English.

The hotel does what it says on the tin, its functional convenient and consistent, I have stayed here many times, would recommend it and would stay again. Its not super luxurious but comfortable and welcoming, always has crisp white bedding, and is always clean, the water always hot and a good shower.
