Set in a 17th-century coaching inn, the Trevor Arms is located in the countryside village of Marford, North Wales. It offers spacious rooms and an elegant restaurant serving home-cooked food. The area around Trevor Arms is fascinating, with the houses having ‘eyes’ and crosses, like the pub itself. The rooms are down the back behind the pub, and you have plenty of parking there too, we felt secure that our car was close by. The room was great for our needs, and it had heating. The price was unbelievable, the rooms very clean. We had Beef and ale pie off the menu, with fresh greens and chips, highly recommended!

Hotel is gorgeous grounds are beautiful very peaceful..staff were more than welcoming, friendly atmosphere and very helpful. We had a fantastic stay at Rossett and will definitely be staying again in the future. Hotel is central for public transport to either Chester Town centre or Wrexham Town centre. Lovely local pubs to have a couple of drinks in. Local shops within a 5 minute walk if needed. Would highly recommend a stay.
Rossett itself is a small village and you will run out of things to see in 20 minutes. However there are some nice pubs and restaurants. As well as a ceramic paint store and a chocolatier. We had breakfast twice at The Hideout. There was a little shop for essentials near our hotel. The location if Rossett however is perfect to visit both Chester and the North of Wales. We drove as far as Portmeirion. We also managed to visit Llandudno and Flint Castle
Beautiful surroundings. Hotel lovely. Staff worked hard nothing was any trouble. Lovely food Had a quiet break which was well needed. Sat under a gazebo with lights in the garden - just so relaxing . Beds comfy and bedroom lovely. Will definitely be going back to this lovely hotel
I would like to see the hotel requesting all guests to wear masks while walking around inside the hotel. This pandemic has to be taken seriously so by making mask wearing mandatory that would provide guests with confidence. Currently this is left to the guest to decide and we felt very uncomfortable about that.
We had a lovely room , we had a free upgrade as we were celebrating our Ruby Wedding. We had DBB and had an excellent meal & good service. The only negative is that some areas need improving. The carpet on the way to the restaurant is ver dirty in areas and the paintwork needs attention. Overall a fabulous stay
Our room, number 8, on the ground floor with a garden view was very nice. Powerful water pressure, which is always a bonus. Friendly staff. Always ample parking. Walkable to a couple of pubs and a local shop.
