A large village with three pubs. About a mile or so from the property but walkable if you wanted to. Only tried The White Swan (twice) but it was excellent. There are two shops in the village. The Pink Pig Farm (about 10 miles away) is an excellent day out for children up to 12.
Scotter is a lovely little village, we went there for my husband to go fishing and there are two decent fishing lakes nearby. There are a couple of pubs and lots of different take aways all within walking distance of the hotel.
It was a trip back to where I grew up, went to revisit old memories and friends. I remember the White swan as a pub in the community . Really excited to go back and stay. Dissappointed with the facility.
Lovely village with a river ducks and some lovely places to walk. People were freindly and helpful. We ate at the White Swan food was very good but there were also two other places to eat and if we go back it would be great to try them they look nice and very popular. Scotter is close to both Scunthorpe and Gainsbrough
Pretty little village not much by way of shopping but plenty of pubs if that's what you like. The people were very friendly and all said good morning etc. the ducks on the river were cute and quite funny to watch. Scotter is not far from some great spots, Lincoln being one of them would definately go again.
