Just 10 minutes’ walk from St Helier, Merton Hotel features a water park with slides and a spa. There is free parking on site, and a choice of 5 restaurants. We stayed for night with some family visiting from the UK. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. Super comfy beds with two pillows! this always makes me happy. We had a great time in the pool, all areas of the pool were spotless and the staff were friendly. We had a lovely meal at the hotel in the evening and a delicious breakfast, There was fried bread! a very naughty treat! all of the staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful I'd happily have another stay-cation at the hotel.
Located on the beautiful island of Jersey, the 4-star Hotel de France is a 15-minute walk from the town center. With free WiFi and free parking, it has a spa, gym and swimming pool complex. The staff were fantastic. Had a great time in the bar last night with a staff member who was so friendly and obviously loves his job. Spent ages discussing whiskey and how best to drink not with fantastic insight and knowledge.
Around 1 mile from St Helier harbor, Alister Guest House offers well-appointed rooms and a range of breakfasts. I had a lovely experience. The hostess was very welcoming, helpful, polite and friendly, the room was clean and comfy, the ensuite bathroom was clean and the shower worked well with plenty of hot water. It was quite cold outside but the room was a nice warm temperature. The bed and pillows were comfy and the cooked breakfast was nice. The location is about 18 minutes walk from the bus station and 40 seconds walk from the bus stop of bus 4, the one connecting the hotel to Royal Jersey Showground where I was attending an event. Just one note, if it is your first time in Jersey be aware plenty of bus stops in Jersey don't have a pole or board or shelter with names of the stops or bus numbers, there is only a writing on the street (literally on the floor) that says "bus" with the number of the bus stop or their times. The stop outside the guesthouse is one of them. I couldn't find it and one passerby pointed the writing on the floor to me saying that was the bus stop. For all your grocery needs there is a small Co-op supermarket 1 minute walk from the guesthouse, a Morrisons 3 minutes walk and a Waitrose 8 minutes walk. The small Co-op is open every day, the Waitrose from Monday to Saturday and the Morrison I am not sure as I didn't use it. The free wi-fi worked well.
Set 0.6 mi from Havre des Pas, Franklyn Guest house offers accommodations with a shared lounge, a garden and a 24-hour front desk for your convenience. Amazing stay! Room was spacious and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was fantastic! Elana was an amazing host, had a great laugh with her! Elana really made it feel like home from home 😀 Also only 10 minutes walk to town center.
This small, quiet hotel is 1 mile north of St Helier and surrounded by countryside. It has a pub, restaurant, a sunny patio, and is on a bus route to St Helier. The quality of the food was very good. The staff were helpful and friendly . The owner/manager is extremely hard working to make sure that all is well for you. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and quiet !! I would stay there again .
The prestigious Almorah Hotel was built around 1841 and is a listed building of great importance. Very tasty breakfast. The full English wasn’t the oily mess you do often get. Nicely cooked and full options given as to what you’d like. Also continental breakfast and all the trimmings!
I enjoyed the location of St Saviour. It was really easy to get to the Castle on the East coast and very easy to get to St Hellier as well. I had a hire car and it was easy to find the hotel too. The hotel is a little dated, but it's clean and has all the facilities, wifi only in the foyer, but I found it lovely that every evening lots of people would be sitting in the foyer, all on their phones and laptops. The staff were really helpful and friendly
Good location, near to Botanic Gardens, which we love, and nowhere is very far to travel in Jersey....visited St Brelades, Gorey, St Catherines, St Aubin, Corbiere Lighthouse and Botanic Gardens twice....all in two days Had a lovely evening meal at the Boat House in St Aubin on Sat night, ate at the hotel on Sunday night
would thoroughly recommend this hotel. we visited the war museum, german hospital and tunnels, very moving. Also visited the Durrell zoo and the Jersey Pearl. Maybe the hotel could start doing a tour of the island. Found taxis quite expensive
Walking distance to town and easy access to several beaches and attractions . As previous residents of Jersey we did not really go to Jersey to see the sights but to meet up with friends so can't add anything else.
Howard Davis park, is lovely you can go to various events held there. Have Afternoon Tea, it is very relaxing. The Sea water Lido is great for swimming, you can have snacks and ice cream there. The Drifters restaurant was brilliant, food delicious and reasonable price but you need to book. The White Horse is another good place to eat. Also Bonetti's at the Merton Hotel is another good place to go.
HOWARD DAVIS PARK. IN THE BELVERDEARE RESTAURANT AND THE BONNETTY RESTAURANT. IF YOU ARE FIT IT IS A SHORT WALT TO THE CENTRE OF ST HELIER. NICE TO BE CALLED A YOUNG COUPLE BUT I AM 83 AND THE WIFE IS 78, BUT WE STILL ENJOY A WALK.
