Around 1 mile from St Helier harbor, Alister Guest House offers well-appointed rooms and a range of breakfasts.
I was a solo traveler and the room was more than comfortable for one person. Also the bed was. The place is very cosy, you feel at home. The provide a really good breakfast and that's also the moment you have a nice social interaction with fellow guests in the guest house. The hosts are super welcoming and provide a warm welcome feeling every morning during breakfast. Furthermore St Helier is much smaller than it might look on the map so therefore the location is also very central and easy to reach on foot, no hills either. The neighborhood is quite and peaceful.
The prestigious Almorah Hotel was built around 1841 and is a listed building of great importance.
The hotel had a very inviting and friendly atmosphere thanks to the owners Silvina and Carlos and their fantastic staff. The breakfast was always fresh and delicious. Our rooms were very clean and the hotel itself was very well maintained and modern throughout. The location was perfect, a short walk or bus ride from the city.

everything for me was good from the check in,room hygiene, breakfast was good,
I enjoyed the location of St Saviour. It was really easy to get to the Castle on the East coast and very easy to get to St Hellier as well. I had a hire car and it was easy to find the hotel too. The hotel is a little dated, but it's clean and has all the facilities, wifi only in the foyer, but I found it lovely that every evening lots of people would be sitting in the foyer, all on their phones and laptops. The staff were really helpful and friendly
Good location, near to Botanic Gardens, which we love, and nowhere is very far to travel in Jersey....visited St Brelades, Gorey, St Catherines, St Aubin, Corbiere Lighthouse and Botanic Gardens twice....all in two days Had a lovely evening meal at the Boat House in St Aubin on Sat night, ate at the hotel on Sunday night
would thoroughly recommend this hotel. we visited the war museum, german hospital and tunnels, very moving. Also visited the Durrell zoo and the Jersey Pearl. Maybe the hotel could start doing a tour of the island. Found taxis quite expensive
Walking distance to town and easy access to several beaches and attractions . As previous residents of Jersey we did not really go to Jersey to see the sights but to meet up with friends so can't add anything else.
Howard Davis park, is lovely you can go to various events held there. Have Afternoon Tea, it is very relaxing. The Sea water Lido is great for swimming, you can have snacks and ice cream there. The Drifters restaurant was brilliant, food delicious and reasonable price but you need to book. The White Horse is another good place to eat. Also Bonetti's at the Merton Hotel is another good place to go.
HOWARD DAVIS PARK. IN THE BELVERDEARE RESTAURANT AND THE BONNETTY RESTAURANT. IF YOU ARE FIT IT IS A SHORT WALT TO THE CENTRE OF ST HELIER. NICE TO BE CALLED A YOUNG COUPLE BUT I AM 83 AND THE WIFE IS 78, BUT WE STILL ENJOY A WALK.
The staff are so friendly it had everything you could ask for,it should be rated 4 star or more,it was clean, the food was fabulous,I would highly recommend this hotel, great holiday.
