Stayed with my partner and 3 kids and we fitted in there very comfortably. The kids thought the place was cute. Excellent. Definitely stay again.

A 25-minute drive from Royal Tumbridge Wells in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the privately-run Shoyswell Cottage is a boutique-style B&B offering bedrooms with luxury bedding,... Great B&B in an exceptional location. Being away from London for 2 days, this is exactly what you can wish for in terms of quietness in the countryside. Jolyon and Lawrence are amazing host and exceeded all our expectations, including breakfast, bar and check-in/check out. The three dogs on the property are very friendly and adorable. Definitely would recommend for an escapade in Kent.
Located in Lamberhurst, 3.1 mi from Scotney Castle Garden and Estate, T & J Motel provides accommodations with a garden and free private parking. The motel features family rooms. Never had the breakfast, everything is there to make your own. Showers are clean and working perfectly.
Peaceful location with pretty villages like Kilndown and Burwash - (The home of Rudyard Kipling)and ample to do over a long weekend, more time needed if golfing holiday, must visit pubs like Vineyard in Lamberhurst and The Bull Inn nearby. Last but not least Scotney castle.
Ticehurst is a lovely little place, full of charm. It has 2 really excellent country inns: The Bell and The Bull (not to be confused). Both serve great food, with The Bell adding a modern twist and The Bull going more traditional. Both are worth a visit, though I recommend pre-booking.
There is a need to improve and upgrade the facilities and in particular to provide and much more substantial and varied breakfast. I realise the room is trying to give a 'shabby chic' appearance, but the layout and facilities in the room need to be overhauled.
Ticehurst is a small Village with a few independent shops . We were using it as a base to visit family in Kent and the excellent Hever Castle , so didn't really explore the village fully . The destination was The Bell Inn .
A perfect stay especially in the lodges. Rooms so comfortable the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in. The fire burner was an added bonus . Throughly chilled with our champagne wine and beer. The staff were very friendly and we ate in there every night..
We came specifically to go to Great Dixter which we had visited in May for my birthday, we also went to Sissinghurst then. A few years previously we visited Pashley Manor for the tulip festival which was amazing. We love the area and really enjoy gardens. Rudyard Kiplings home is very near Ticehurst (next village I think)
