Very clean rooms, ensuite shower and loo, good view of the bay. For a budget hotel I was pleasantly surprised at good the place was. There's a bar /restaurant that plays music but it was all switched off at a reasonable time. The staff were very efficient and friendly also. Ive edited this as io forgot to add , there was a fidge in the room which was very helpful.

Owners are really lovely and helpful. Good location, only a 20 min walk down to the centre. Nice big car park located at the front of the hotel. The owners communication is really good, they had told us that the road that the hotel was on was closed the day after we stayed so we wouldn’t be able to get out of the hotel onto the main road so we had to park in the a local car park.

Torquay has some lovely spots to sit and watch the world go by and we came across some very friendly people. The disappointing thing was the road works which I was surprised to see still there at the start of the summer season. My mother and I are not very mobile and finding a spot to cross where we felt safe was difficult. Really spoilt the look of the marina.

Sadly the road works on the harbour front is still going on and the Pavilion is closed but we will go back next year. The boat trips are great.
The Town has a lovely shopping experience and there are many restaurants for your needs. Witherspoons (green ginger) has gone down hill a bit and the food there isn't that good anymore.

Torquay is beautiful around the harbour and sea front.
Torquay is beautiful around the harbour and sea front. The town centre is best avoided. Babbacombe is gorgeous lots of bars and places to eat. St Marychurch for Bygones Museum/ Model Village and lovely shops. Oddicombe Beach via the Cliff Railway is lovely with great cafe/bar on the beach. No dogs sadly on the beach but you can walk them over to Babbacombe where they are welcome and the Cary Arms is lovely. Loads of independent restaurants around the harbour and beach.

Torquay is a bustling seaside resort with a picturesque marina and a sandy beach. Lots of shops, bars & cafés and an excellent bus service to get out around the bay. If your accomodation is out of the town centre, you are likely to have a bit of climb when walking back as it is quite hilly but this does provide lovely views over the bay. The town centre is largely pedestrianised but the seafront is slightly marred by the busy main road that runs through the town.

Never been to Torquay before so was looking forward to it.
Never been to Torquay before so was looking forward to it. but i was a bit disappointed in the shopping area and not many souvenir shops and the main road was a nightmare as they are changing the way it was and nobody didn't seem to be working on it. Also went to go to the Museum and it would have cost us £22 for 2 O.A.P. so we gave that a miss thought it was overpriced. Went on the funicular railway staff on this were very friendly. Model village was really good aswell
Fantastic hotel one of the best we have been to. Breakfast was exceptional, the room was spacious with lots of little extras and fresh milk daily which was a little treat. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to stay in Torquay. The hosts Caroline and Russell were very accommodating.

Perfect! handy situation for my requirements, lovely staff, VERY comfortable bed - best in all the hotels so far I've had to stay in Torquay (frequent visitor)
