Set in Ullapool, Harbor House has a garden. This guest house offers luggage storage space and free WiFi. The private bathroom is fitted with a bath or shower. We were only there for one night, but everything was wonderful. The view out the back of the House was to die for. Although the Harbor House is very close to town, it's very quiet. The staff and owners were all very helpful and friendly. We realized at 10 pm that we hadn't made reservations for the car ferry the next day, and we all went into a spin. No reservations available! Since we were entering our "tight schedule" portion of the trip, we definitely needed to be on the ferry the next day. First thing in the morning, we checked with the House management and they went into high gear. Called the ferry line for us, gave us all the options we had, made recommendation for "if...then" and Step 2 etc., and, for worse case, offered to find us a room for that night because they were fully booked. Thankfully, we got on the ferry because other groups didn't show up, but Harbor House showed us what a shining star of customer service and human kindness it is. Thank you to Harbor House for reassuring travelers that everything will be OK!!
Facing the beachfront in Ullapool, Lochview Guest House features a garden and a shared lounge. Both private parking and free WiFi are available at the guesthouse. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the preparedness and completeness of the facilities, to say nothing about the great breakfast.

Located in Ullapool, Dacama House offers accommodations with free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a garden and a terrace. A continental breakfast is available daily at the bed and breakfast. The room was excellent with breakfast facilities in the room which made it easy. All round, a good place to stay.
Wonderful people, everywhere you turn. Absolutely the nicest crew running the Ullapool Youth Hostel. Courteous and upbeat with everyone. They always tried to accommodate everyone’s wishes. Each person appeared to be satisfied with their arrangement. The showers & toilets were spic and span when they opened, the laundry room was available, the kitchen was supplied with almost any pot you could ask for, there was a dayroom, a dinning room, kitchen, fridge, coffee pots/makers, better stocked than any home I ever lived in. This place was Great! I’m happy I had a chance to stay.
The town harbour is ok but the walk around the water is nice and quiet. The route to Ullapool is good and the coastal route is better. Had the benefit of viewing a couple of seals in the harbour. Had dinner at the town's only Indian restaurant, which was not authentic Indian.
Charming shops. Excellent heritage museum in classic Thomas Telford building. Friendly people everywhere. Beautiful views. Fine places to eat such as the Seaforth which serves super fresh fish. Nearby laundromat where we had our dirty clothes washed for a reasonable price.
maybe it was sheer luck, but a ship was docked and the crew ended up in the hotel bar my first night. then I found them again the next night. all around, it's a fun little place with a few bars to pop into.
The north west of Scotland is the best place in the world, especially when the sun shines. The scenery is breath taking, the people are welcoming and the seafood is excellent, but don't tell everyone or there will be no hotel rooms to book!
My purpose for travelling to Ullapool was to catch the morning ferry to Stornoway. AS I arrived after 10pm and left the next morning on the ferry I can't really comment on Ullapool other than to generalise. It was clean and well suited for touring the Western Highlands with ferry connections for the Outer Hebrides. The people we came into contact with were friendly and helpful.

Nice functional room, reasonably comfy bed. Located within 2-3 blocks of everything in downtown Ullapool. Large, convenient car park adjacent to the property. All of the staff are pleasant and friendly. Had fun accordion-player in the hotel bar on Friday night playing local music. Everything was booked in town, and this was available on last-minute. Worked fine for me, and was just what I needed after many hours of driving earlier in the day!

This property is located on the banks of Loch Broom, just a short walk and shorter drive into Ullapool. It is supremely comfortable with freshly ironed white sheets and fluffy pillows. The shower was great and the view of Loch Broom was fantastic. The breakfast buffet is excellent and they also have food to order. Upon arrival you are greeted with fresh shortbread and a dram of sherry or whiskey. Lovely large sitting area overlooking the loch.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Argyll Hotel. Fabulous location, easy parking, wonderful views from our window, comfortable beds, amazing food, cozy olde worlde pub. What more could you ask for?!! We were very well taken care of by the owner who was helping the staff and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with him. It was a perfect place to stay in Ullapool as everywhere was an easy walk and it was so convenient!!

The location of the Arch Inn was great - our room had wonderful views of the Ullapool harbour and it was easy to park our car out front. We also enjoyed eating dinner (and breakfast!) in the attached restaurant.

Everything was as expected - hassle-free check-in, the room was clean and fresh, very basic, but functional. The building is located in a residential area about 15-20 minutes from Ullapool downtown.
