Located in Waterloo in the Merseyside Region, 5 mi from Liverpool, 29 Marine Crescent features views over Marine Gardens, Crosby Marina, Liverpool Bay and the Welsh hills beyond. I liked the nice hospitality of Lynn and John as well as the bedroom with excellent view through the glass windows and the luxury bathroom and very nice breakfast
Located in Waterloo, in a building dating from 19th century, Riverview Guest House provides a garden and guestrooms with free WiFi. Breakfast was great, the landlady was very friendly and the dogs were very welcome, park and beach were right on the doorstep. Excellent
Located in Crosby, this apartment is 5.6 mi from Liverpool. Free WiFi is offered . An oven, a microwave and a toaster can be found in the kitchen. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels is featured.... The appartment was very good, clean, and not far from the beach. It is very good for a family of 5. We had a very good time in the appartment. Thank you.
Verdi Street, a property with a garden, is set in Liverpool, 3.1 mi from Anfield Stadium, 3.7 mi from Western Approaches Museum, as well as 3.7 mi from Liver Building. Modern and spacious. TV freeveiw wasn’t connived was only able to watch YouTube. Inside all base kitchen cupboards were mouldy so not pleasant but did not need to use anything in them for our overnight stay.
Overlooking the Mersey Estuary, the Royal Hotel is a 5-minute walk to Waterloo Merseyside Train Station. Breakfast was very good-excellent choice of food & the option of having room service (at no extra charge) though we chose to have breakfast in the spacious dining room & because of this social distancing wasn’t an issue. Helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble:-)
Trivelles Seaforth is a 3-star property located in Bootle. This 3-star hotel offers room service. This property features both free WiFi and private parking free of charge. I liked everything staff are friendly especially Genna who is friendly and outgoing and Piyush who is very friendly and welcoming and also very accommodating. Would recomend this hotel
It is an ideal area to stay, it is cheap to get to Liverpool from there and the public transport is brilliant. Although close to Liverpool it is lovely for a walk along the Mersey estuary. There are lots of food outlets ranging from a Wetherspoons to varied foreign cuisine. Although Bootle isn't the nicest part of Merseyside it has a very useful little shopping area (The Strand) and a nice functional swimming pool.
We went to the Volunteer Canteen, a lovely historic back street pub known locally as 'the Volly'. Lovely friendly place, recommended. Lots of restaurants to choose from but we went to the Turkish restaurant The Sultan. Excellent freshly cooked tasty food, very reasonably priced.
Waterloo is close enough to the centre of Liverpool to make it a good place to stay without city prices. It is also right on the coast, with a beach which stretches all the way to Southport. There is a watersports centre, and a nice play park by the lake. There are a number of places to eat and drink and also some shops. It has good transport links.
Waterloo is a brilliant place to stay. The sea front and sandy beach is where you can see Anthony Gormley's Another Place statues and watch the ships travelling up river to the Liverpool port/docks. The local train stations and buses provide easy travel to Liverpool and Southport. There are some great independent bars/restaurants/cafes in South Road, which is very lively on Saturday nights if you want some nightlife but don't want to go into Liverpool and there's a community cinema, run by volunteers.
Fabulous little place. Full of eclectic shops, huge choice of pubs/restaurants. Antony Gormley's Another Place just across the road. Railway station 8-10 minutes away. Fantastic location for exploring City of Liverpool.
We visited the Antony Gormly beach sculptures. Spent most time in Liverpool city centre. The World Museum worth a visit. The waterfront has plenty of places to eat and more museums. The Tate gallery was interesting had some unusual art. Knowlsey Safari park was lovely being only half an hour from the flat. Drive through park and walk about zoo area.
I liked the nice hospitality of Lynn and John as well as the bedroom with excellent view through the glass windows and the luxury bathroom and very nice breakfast
