It was my partners 90th birthday treat and 14 in the party of which 5 of us stayed in the hotel The remainder stayed on the Party girls son farm but attended the birthday party (note 27 years we have been together. It was held in the main dinning room. Family provided name plates for seating and flowers keep cost down All stayed in Hotel and no one went out until departure

Promised 2 course dinner in dining room when booking.... fully booked no availability to have dinner when we arrived despite trying to call numerous times before arrival to book a time slot. Given the opportunity to eat in the bar instead but a burger wasn't quite what we had in mind for a treat night away . Room was fine just as shown in pictures on Booking.com but the bathroom was filthy, mouldy grout, damp and very run down. Staff in cocktail bar were great especially Jay. Disappointing night away considering we spent over £300 in total including drinks and booking. Wish we'd booked elsewher

A beautiful hotel in amazing grounds with so much character! Just there for one night so didn’t really explore the area. Lovely just to relax in and pop to the spa area. Lovely cosy bar in the evening.

Our trip was for a church christening and a reception. The rest of our time was used for catching up with our friends in the area. We have been many times to Wotton under Edge and Leyhill. It offers wonderfull views of the Cloustershire countryside, and some nice drives through small towns and villages. We found the locals to be friendly and helpful.

There looks to be some good walking on the Edge and around the area. Although we didn't get into Wotton-under-Edge itself on foot, when we drove through it looked very nice. Also, it is relatively east to get to other sight-seeing sites, such as Slimbridge WWT centre, Clifton Bridge, etc.

We had a wonderful time , the staff were amazing and very helpful . The building was beautiful as were the Grounds. We dined in the restaurant. for each of our 4 nights stay. twice on our own and twice Joined by some very dear friends, and The food was was very good We would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return
