This place was really good. I've stayed at a few hotels in Africa and this one is one of the better places. I would definitely recommend this place. The wash machine was a huge plus and the kitchen too was great!! It was clean and no cockroaches!!! That's always something you worry about in Africa! Oh and there was hot water for showers another bonus!!

This was a wonderful place to stay for a few nights. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the property is gorgeous. Everything is well laid-out and designed with a ton of greenery everywhere. There are numerous places in the public areas to sit or lounge in the in the shade, and coffee and other beverages are available at the bar. I met a number of other interesting travelers (the place is small, so you will run into the same people a lot). There is one decent restaurant within walking distance, many more a short taxi ride away. The owner, Urban, can help arrange transportation from the airport as well as for sightseeing.

Tamala Beach Resort is truly impressive — the design is beautiful, the location is ideal, and the surrounding scenery is stunning. The staff are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and responsive, which adds greatly to the overall experience. The food is enjoyable, and the facilities meet expectations.
