An ideal location, close to the beach, surrounded by lovely restaurants, bakeries and shops. Although the beach is really beautiful, it’s very busy with lots of sunbeds. We loved eating at Colosseo, the food was lovely and staff were great. Zafiris Bakery was delicious, we loved our croissants from there on a morning. We hired a buggy from Motonaxos, the ladies that worked there were really helpful and we loved being able to explore in our own time.

There was nothing to dislike. Picture-book perfect in every way. So many nearby, beautiful beaches to choose from. The beach is bordered by Agios Anna as well as Plaka - both superb beaches with clear turquoise water and white sands with or without organised beach umbrellas and chairs.

Agios Prokapios is just outside the main town, which is a 10 min drive, less people but plenty of restaurants, car hire place, tour operators, shops etc. Easy to reach town with the local bus which is actually quite luxurious for the price, 2 euro one way per person which goes very frequently till late at night. You don't need to go to town unless you like more shops , more bars, more people as Agios Prokpios has enough restaurants and enough of everything.The beach is much nicer here than the main town and our accommodation was allot more spacious compared to the rooms in town plus we had a huge pool. Highly recommend getting a car for a day or two to go the the most unbelievable beaches in the South and North of the island plus lovely to see the villages in the mountains.JanineSouth Africa - Scored 8.08.0

If you'd like a very secluded quiet place then this is for you. As I said, if you'd like to explore the island you will need a car. You really even need a car to get food and water. We walked to El Greco restaurant across the bay when we arrived on Sunday and they were very busy and the staff seemed a little overwhelmed. I picked the area as part of initially picking a lodging, but something went bad and it was cancelled (not sure if me or the owne). We worked to find another spot, but much was closing down for the season after about mid October. We found a host who was in midst of closing Anna's Studios after closing her other Welcome Home Studios, but envited us in. The best beach we experienced in Greece - absolutely stunning. Perfect location, close to restaurants, transport and supermarkets. We had dinner at the nearby Giannoulis Restaurant. This restaurant was so good that we went back a second time. The staff were so hospitable and accommodating, and the food was exceptional. It is very easy to get to town using the local buses. The bus stop is close by and the buses come past every half hour or every hour.

It is a family run business with fantastic staff who make for a memorable stay. The hotel and surrounds are kept fastidiously clean and tidy. It’s hard to single out particular staff as they are all amazing. Christina provides a warm welcome as does Fay in reception and nothing is a problem for them with any requests you may have. Sofia in the restaurant and Panos in the bar at night are so warm and friendly. A memorable stay.

There is a bus station right next to the hotel to make it easy to access Naxos Town and the beaches. The breakfast was excellent and the staff welcoming and very helpful
