The location is quiet and at the same time close to any of the popular towns. There are three Greek tabernas nearby that allow you to eat any typical Greek food.

The hand delivered Breakfast with three options is something you dont see these days . Absolutely smashing array of local delights. Having spent 4 days in Santorini and savoring the sights of Oia and Fera , the beautioful attractions as shown in brochures , I recommend a more isolated area like Monolithos and especially the Mylithos suites, it was an oasis in a hilly and barren location with a lot of local residences - walking into lovely eateries by the beach road. It is for those travelers who prefer places "off the beaten path"
Going there over winter break (Christmas week) we did not anticipate any crowds, but there were several areas that were absolutely closed for the season. But there were plenty of places still open for food and shopping, and we enjoyed the lack of crowds as it helped us get fantastic photo shots of both sunrises and sunsets. A rental car is a must, and the of Oia was particularly enjoyable.
we loved Monalithos ,we were at the beach every day then up to the restaurant t for beautiful salad and cold beer and some greek fried tomatoes in herbs ,enjoy lunch read and have a swim and go walking along path rocks very safe and up at five shower and bus into Fira enjoy an amazing evening sundowner absolutely magnificent have a lovely cocktail on one of the many fabulous bars overlooking the sea pure magic then head for some fab greek food what a place .simply life dosent get better .loved it
What I liked most was the layout of the hotel, which was right next to the beach. We rented a motorbike to drive the whole island. Monolithos is a quiet place where you have a beach, a shop, restaurants, fast food. The beach is long and also suitable for surfing, kiting.
Very small village, with great beaches and pleasant access to the sea. There is ATM, Mini Market with all u need for vacation and more, perfect authentic restaurants and bus stop which is key for exploring of Santorini.
It was our last stop on a 5 island tour so we chose to be near the airport for our final 2 night stay. No problem really as there was a regular and cheap bus service to the main town of Thiras. Bus station a nightmare though. Very small with hundreds of people having to avoid moving buses all the time. UK H & S would have had a field day! Bus information could have been a lot, lot better too. Beach nearby was handy but it was very windy whilst we were there and the fine volcanic grey sand blew everywhere hence beach was empty apart from a few intrepid wind surfers. The airport, another nightmare! Far far too small for the passenger numbers.
Monolithos
The villa is gorgeous. It is spotless and extremely comfortable, with every conceivable convenience needed. The breakfast and treats provided was beyond anything we've ever experienced before. The host is incredible - she does everything possible to ensure your stay is perfect. We had an amazing stay. This was our best find ever ... it was like staying in a private villa with the best boutique hotel service. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.
The hotel was great for staying near the airport for a late arrival and early departure. It is a very nice hotel in an industrial area of Santorini. There is a beach across the street but it’s not very nice. I did not expect much from this hotel but it was extremely nice and well maintained. You would pay 10 times the price if it were in a more prime location. It was perfectly priced and exactly where we needed it to be…close to the airport.
Monolithos
Perfect location, right on the very family friendly (shallow no rocks) beach. Monolithos is a small village thus its trivial to find the property and get to a few available restraints. Kitchen is fully equipped with gadgets to make a quick meal for the family. A close by bus stop makes it easy to commute to other locations on the island.
Monolithos
Lina is very accommodating! She even accompanied us to the airport for free!! And during our stay she also ordered greek food for us since we don’t speak the language and it was our first time trying greek food, also the property is near Monolithos beach.
