Anatoli Studios is one of a kind; we had an excellent stay and a very pleasant time there. Specifically we booked the Anatoli room which means sunrise room in Greek - indeed offering us a breathtaking view of the sunrise, wow! I did take a look at the other rooms in the garden, they were very cute as well. As for other details, can say a very spacious place, comfortable and classy interior design and to mention other external info, location is great meaning very close to amazing beaches and you can feel the calmness and peaceful harmony. Our hostess has been very sweet and well educated , also there's a food service available and the quality of food is 10/10 - eating home made food. Loved my breakfast and lunch there, and chilling in the pool . Also, there's a free service to pick up and drop to the port, thank you very much. Looking fw to visiting you again!

Its like old fashioned greece, a narrow road with local tavernas with amazing food and small local shops. Imagine Mykonos - its the exact opposite with charm, relaxing vibe - no loud music!! If you want a peaceful relaxing stay in idyllic greece this is perfect. If you want nightclubs and very late nights go to Kavos!

Beautiful island relatively flat so easy for hiking.

Beautiful island relatively flat so easy for hiking. Not much traffic so ideal to rent an ATV and explore the whole island. Only 1 surfaced road so access to all the lovely quiet sandy beaches is via gravel tracks. Small cute main town with typical Cycladic white buildings. Clear blue sea and fab views.

At the time of year we travelled there ,the island is very quiet, hardly anything open but there's a couple of very small supermarkets two restaurants and a couple of bars. But this is what we loved about it. Plenty of walks and bays to swim in .

We have been to Schinoussa several times since around 1999.

We have been to Schinoussa several times since around 1999. In all those years it has remained largely unchanged, which is lovely to see (although it's good there is now an ATM!). It is wonderfully peaceful, with some lovely beaches that are all within walking distance of the Chora.

A quiet island in May.

A quiet island in May. There are several beaches, but often with rocks in the immediate seabed. Of all the Small Cyclades group of islands as well as nearby Naxos and Amorgos, this is the worst island for hiking, due to the highest number of fences and large closed off private properties. Positive is the quite strong agricultural activity going on, also the general friendliness of the people. There are a couple of good restaurants around. My favorite were 'Cafe Peri' for breakfast and restaurant 'Deli' for dinner. Be careful, when you book an accomodation at the beginning or end of the season. The price of the hotel I stayed in (Ailouros) was Eur 63 per night, when I booked one month earlier (with booking.com) and Eur 36, when I stayed there end of May.

Pretty island with nice views to the sea from all directions...

Pretty island with nice views to the sea from all directions. Quite small so everything can be reached by foot. Clean waters to swim and few of the beaches had natural shadow too. Great greek food and pastries.
