This historical hotel was clean, lovely and well maintained, but the family / staff who run it were my favorite part of the stay. They were friendly, kind and extremely helpful. Always interested in providing advice and directions in order to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Also had some nice chats about living in the area and other topics. Just nice folks (which is a big compliment in my book).

Daniela was friendly and helpful and the location is beautiful. There are plenty of places to eat in the village and some great trails to walk, down to the beaches or up in the hills. The birdsong, including nightingales, was a delight.
