vasilikos is a quiet part of the island, hotels/apartments are smaller, simple. no party zone there. nice, sandy beach, with small stones at the water border, so bathing shoes are helpful. you can book trips from the hotel, public bus system during the day hourely. zykynthos town and port are nice to visit, also small villages in the inner of the island. famous: shipwreck bayccsillaAustria - Scored 8.08.0

A calm and quiet town with beautiful beaches. Several bars and restaurants open until around 11.00 p.m. Aragassi (where the bars are open at night) and the capital are not far away and you can get there by bus or taxi.

A great location to explore the rest of the island, you will need transport to get about because the public transport is a bit hit and miss. Xirokastello has some fine restaurants (Agnadi and the Windmill to name but 2) so does Argassi (Zinc) did not visit Vasilikos but drove through it and it looks nice.

Ms. Rula is a very kind host. Always smiling, hard working in the morning making sure everything is in place whether she'd be doing laundry or sweeping the leaves. She is very attentive of her clients and takes extra care of them like offering baked homemade goods in the morning wich were delicious. The location was away from the busier areas like Zante Town and Argassi, but still accessible in 10 mins. There is a family run Taverna Agnas (I think) near the Florida Taverna, great food and set on the top of the hill it gas amazing views!Reda

Breakfast is nice, service staff always with the open eye. We did not have dinner there because we found nice typical greek restaurants nearby. This was number two of three different hotels we tried during our 10-days-stay on the island, we booked it for some relaxing hours on the beach and therefore it was perfect.

The staff was extremely kind, including the owner. Swimming pool is fantastic, the hotel is quiet, great place to stay and to relax. The restaurant at next door (Dolphinas) is the best place in Zakynthos.
