United StatesThe resort sits on a gazillion acres and features a fantastic swimming lagoon. The restaurant serves delicious fare for a reasonable price. Finca Ixobel offers horseback riding (which I didn't do) and guided caving tours. I thoroughly enjoyed the hike to and through the caverns. My tour guide, Alvaro, was great! The grounds are meticulously maintained. I intended to stay for only one or two nights and had such a great time that I wound up staying three.
