Located in Silba, 27 mi from Rab, Apartmani Sirius offers a garden and free WiFi. You can See the sun rise & sun set on the sea on the Island! It’s marvelous! The best beach (marvelous, shallow, turquoise blue) of the Island is one minute walk from the house. There is a bar on the beach and 2 restaurants at 2 minutes walking distance. It is not crowded at all. On the other side of Silba kids love jumping from the port after the boat has left at sunset Time. The whole Island is at human scale and very quiet. I especially loved to be disconnected from cars. Everything (bakery, market, supermarket) is reachable in 5-10 minutes walk. And finally The hosts are very warm and welcomîng. They are friendly and helpful and take time to find an answer to your questions and to help you. We enjoyed having a chat drinking a Beer with them at night in the garden. Good luck Sandra and Paulin with your project and it was a pleasure meeting you!
Located in Silba, 27 mi from Rab, Apartments Lovor features a garden and free WiFi. Our hosts were just wounderful :) It was a bit cold when we arrived but they gave us extra blankets, a heater, and even some varm socks. Also, they have a lovely garden. The apartment is simple but with everything you need. The wifi doesn't reach the apartment but we used roaming and it worked fine :)
The island of Silba remains one of the Adriatic pearls, offering a relaxing, "village" atmosphere, largely preserved nature, secluded beaches, open sea views and much more. Walking its paths, enjoying the fresh smell of pine and fig trees, listening to the never ending song of cicadas, is an inspiring adventure. No roads, no cars, no rush ... but a lively village centre with a few cafes, two or three restaurants, a small market, friendly locals ... what more does one need for a great summer vacation?!
Silba is a lovely secluded island with some beautiful tucked away beaches, the town is very small and pleasant with lots of restaurants and a super chilled vibe. Not much choice for vegetarians but found konoba Zalic to have the most choice out of all of them. Great place overall would definitely recommend for a very relaxed few days
Loved that it was so laid back and everyone was very welcoming. No cars on the island, but that was one of the things we loved about it. Very easy to get around, since the island is so small. Found some very beautiful beaches, great place to explore! Really recommend Silba Otium when booking a place to stay!!
This island is absolutely beautiful. It is a perfect retreat for nature lovers. There are no cars, only a few tractors. The beaches are amazing and not crowded, the water is clear and turquoise. If you are looking to relax in a very slow pace environment then Silba is the right choice. Great for little children, very family friendly.
Silba is a relaxing island with not much happening except the tranquility of the natural beaches and pine forests. It is a bigger island than you expect as we did not manage to walk to both ends of it. The town spills over between the two marinas with concrete paths and narrow alleyways. There is a good swimming beach on the easterly facing marina which was good in there mornings and the sunset can be enjoyed to the full on the westerly facing one - usually from the bar tables. A good chill out place with lots of time to chat with other holiday makers.
No cars (though a few tractors). Lovely beaches. Even the ones near town weren't busy, and if you like a walk you can get to ones that are practically deserted. Pork kebabs at the Konoba Mul are excellent. The Ultra supermarket which is two minutes walk from the apartment is very well stocked - especially in the afternoon after the car ferry has delivered - and takes cards. There is another supermarket at the other end of town, but we didn't use it Note that there is no ATM on the island. I believe you can get cash at the post office, but we just took plenty with us. Also worth noting that the catamaran operators (Miatours) ticket office is some way from the harbour in Zadar so make sure you allow time to get tickets. We didn't have much time as we were getting a ferry in from another island, but the apartment owner (who was in Zadar the day we were travelling) very kindly bought tickets for us and delivered them to the dock side.
Owners are really friendly, place we booked was clean and nice and the island is wonderfull.
