Located in Tegalalang, 3.1 miles from Tegallalang Rice Terrace, Di Uma Sebatu provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a bar. We had the most amazing experience in the rice paddies away from the hustle bustle of Ubud. It was a serene place and really a great price for money.
Offering free WiFi and a garden, Ubud Sawah Homestay is set in Tegalalang. Ceking Ricefield Terrace is 1.9 mi away. All units have a flat-screen TV. Some units include a seating area and/or terrace. Everything is great , stuff s are very nice. Room is great .
Featuring a tropical garden surrounded by rice fields, Uma Caming Villas & Gym by EPS is located in Bresela art village. Each room here is provided with a view, a terrace and a mosquito net. This place blew us away . Prestine well kept grounds, beautiful little self contained bungalows. Set over looking some rice fields in Ubud. Stay here if you want to find your inner peace.
Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Balinese-style Pondok Sebatu Villa provides free shuttle services to Ubud and free Wi-Fi throughout the villa. Sebatu Temple is a 5 minutes' walk away. The minute we stepped foot on the property, we felt like we had landed in paradise. Pondok Sebatu was the first place we were staying upon landing in Bali and we absolutely LOVED IT! The warm welcome by the staff, Yogi especially deserves a mention, and the walk leading up to our villa felt like we were being led to our own little piece of this paradise. Bang in the middle of the gorgeous paddy fields of Tegalalang, the endless green views were to die for. The villa itself was stunning, and the open bathroom where we had a view of the gorgeous fields from our bathtub was just amazing. I also want to mention the cute little surprise the staff left in our bedroom as it was my birthday and the yummy cake they left us as well. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Bali. Highly recommended.

Walking around and looking at all the cool and unique shops was fun. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Loved going on the Rice Terrace Swings! The roads don’t have much space so be careful of traffic. Donations are asked of tourists who walk in certain areas and/or participate in activities the locals present.
The rice fields are unlike any thing else in person! They’re beautiful and unique to Bali so it’s a special place to experience. If you go further thru the country side you truly feel absolute seclusion and humbled by the country life
This was the highlight of my 20 day Bali holiday. I could have stayed in the area the entire 20 days. It has the friendliest people, amazing foods, temples and greenery for miles and miles. What a beautiful part of Bali. Not to be missed: The rice terraces The holy spring water temple The art markets We hired a driver for a reasonable amount and he took us to many of the sites. We took a dip in the cleansing waters at the holy spring water temple - bring a swimsuit to wear under your clothes and you are required to wear a sarong when in the water male or female so bring one. Visit the temple 1st then do the water cleansing. Yoga Barn is the best for those of you who are yogis. Enjoy this magical place!
Well, there is not much I can write what you can read elsewhere. Saying it 'again', Tegalalang and the whole balinese midland with its people, villages, rice terraces, temples and so on, it's so beautiful and awesome , there is so much to discover
Tegalalang and especially the village of Pakudui are known for their wood carvers; especially carvers of fire dragons and most especially the museum and workshops of internationally renowned artist Made Ada. The entire area of Ubud is known for the arts and crafts created there although one has to be careful of 'knockoffs'!!! The Rice Terraces of Tegalalong are well known. A downside is the Lewak coffee operations which hold the civet cats captive in cages in order to produce the unique Lewak coffee. We wouldn't necessarily recommend renting a car or motorbike as the Indonesian style of driving is quite intimidating and dangerous and the roads are quite narrow. Driving styles can only be described as offensive. Traffic jams are frequent. The Monkey Forest is available in Ubud. However, reactions to the opportunity varied widely. Many said that visitors generally expected the monkeys to do their bidding (read 'selfies' here...) even though the monkeys are wild. The monkeys can also be very intrusive as they know how to open backpacks, etc., and are quite accomplished thieves! Rather than suggesting the monkeys not be fed, the 'park' proactively encourages feeding them so the monkeys can frequently be very demanding.
Wow! Where to start? The facilities were absolutely beautiful. You can tell the owner truly takes pride in this unique property. The rooms were gorgeous and properly outfitted for a stay in the jungle. The staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful in arranging tours of Bali. The restaurant on the property was affordable and delicious. I feel like I received a tremendous value at an affordable price. Would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Will likely stay there again if my travels bring me to Bali in the future!
We stayed for 4 nights and we really enjoyed it! Owners and staff were friendly, helpful and accomodating. Villa has a nice view over the ricefields and jungle side. You can also hear the natural sounds of the frogs and geckos at night, being close to nature. Breakfast was delicious and had amazing balinese cooked dinners were very tasty. Great stay! Do not hesitate to come if you want to experience the best and real balinese culture. Highly recommended! Will definitely be coming back soon.🙏 💑 Michelle and Nipuna
The property was absolutely gorgeous! It was very secluded and far away from hectic tourist areas which I adored. It truly felt like we had our own lil Bali villa in the middle of the peaceful rice fields! The staff at the villa were truly amazing! I can’t thank them all enough for how kind and helpful everyone was! We had everything we needed and so much more! Every time we asked for something someone was there to help with a smile! It made our experience perfect! I would highly highly recommend staying here!!!
Staff and Italian owner make you feel very comfortable! Rooms are cleaned properly and are well designed in Japanese style and have a beautiful view over the typical Indonesian rice fields. Massage staff is well trained and the restaurant staff will make you anything to make your stay as pleasant as possible! Come here if you want to get away from busy Bali to serene Bali and get a view of the famous Tegalalang rice fields, but then from your room and from the swimming pool!
Our stay was fantastic due to beatiful view, area, surround, but mainly due to very kind staff. A room was nice as on pictures. Daily cleaned. It is a really private accomodation. The breakfast was delicious. Choise of menu. Fruit, drink of fresh fruit, tea or coffee, banana pancakes or nasi goreng or eggs (omelette, scrambled, etc.). Staff arranged a motorbike. Really close to our accomodation is rice terrace. We enjoy our stay so much. Thank you all 🙏
Umah Hoshi Villa, One of the most beautiful places in the world! Extremely nice personal. A few kilometers from Ubud Center for those who seek a spiritual and relaxing holiday in the middle of the balinese jungle, strategic position for all the most authentic attractions such as monkey Forest 🐒, elephant Park 🐘, rise terrace and so many temples... perfect for those who want to spend a holiday in Bali with the locals. Suksuma @umahhoshi 🙏🏽❤️
They were so friendly, nothing is too difficult for them Breakfast is served on your balcony free of charge They provide free shuttle to centre of ubud for free There are nice spots to dine out in the garden The sound of nature there is just amazing No mosquitoes Very cosy place, not crowded, nice to relax by the pool Staff just wow
Most beautiful place to stay, fantastic facilities and everything you need and want. Dewa the caretaker is amazing, helpful and informative and helped us out every day, highly recommend Serenity Ubud Villas, you will not be disappointed, wonderful
The view of rice terraces- you can also take a short walk, the pool, villas are very private as there are only 3 of them. So it's super discreet and calm around there. Staff is helpful and very polite.
Absolutely beautiful hotel...perfect getaway..room with beautiful views. Shuttle service to ubud centre free. Lovely staff and good food. 3 min walk to rice terrace & coffee tasting
Excellent customer service, very friendly and helpful. Great views of a small clean rice terrace.
Well maintained family owned property in the secluded side of Ubud with amazing paddy field view.
A unique experience in the Bali jungle. Beautiful property and friendly staff.
Away from the crowded ubud center
Everything was just perfect! The room, their service, the view, the breakfast, the pool, the bed, the shuttle, the outdoor shower (loved it) and so on. Good location, it is between Tegalalang (15 min) and Ubud (~ 20 min) so you can explore both areas. Next time I travel to bali, I will definitely stay here again! The hotel offers ride from the airport to the hotel for 400 000 per car (Max 4), take it! We paid 470 000 with Grab! Grab is not allowed in Ubud but is allowed in Denpasar area so you can take it to the hotel but not from the hotel to the airport! The ride should cost between 350 000 - 400 000 to/from the airport!
Truly magical place in the middle of Bali ! The location is perfect if you are looking for peace and relax ! Meanwhile, the hotel offers a free shuttle to Ubud, so you can mix the relax with madness in Ubud. Nice, clean and cozy place and setting. The staff is amazing. All the people in Puri Gangga resort made us feel like home. They are very friendly and kind and took care of all our needs. The food is delicious, the pool and the restaurant have amazing views over the jungle. Also the hotel offers huge variety of activities around the resort. We had a wonderful time in Puri Gangga resort and we will be back for sure !
Quality and attention to detail - without doubt highly attentive and excellent staff...
