This property was beautiful. we had the villa with the private pool. The room was spacious and the bathroom was very nice. the views from the patio were great. The location for us was wonderful, it was in the countryside but a pretty quick car ride to many of the local attractions. The staff was very and incredibly helpful.

I stayed at Tanta Escape for a week for my birthday holiday in Bali. The Villa was beautiful, located in the middle of the rice field. Each villa has its own plunge pool. Interior was very spacious and aesthtically pleasing, high ceiling with wooden beams, floor to ceiling glass walls around the villa which allows you maximum view of the beautifully landscaped surroundings, very comfortable king-sized bed facing the plunge pool and a view of the rice fields, quiet neighborhood, outdoor shower, my own sunbed and umbrella next to the pool (great for sunbathing). Ms Ari and the rest of the staff: Putu, Ngurah, Tika and three others whose names I forgot were so nice, friendly and attentive. Ms Ari made sure I was having an enjoyable and comfortable stay at their place by checking on me daily and arranging delicious breakfast, tours, transportation and even a massage. There were some occasions when she and her husband even gave me a lift to Cretya in the morning, and picked me up in the evening as well. She and Putu also arranged a beautiful floating breakfast for me. They both speak good English, which made our communication very easy because I knew they understood exactly what I meant, and vice versa. Overall, I had a very relaxing and memorable experience at Tanta Escape. Very warm hospitality by the friendly staff, especially Ms Ari. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice, quiet peaceful location out in the middle of nowhere nestled within rice terraces. While the villa was far from the airport that's what makes it secluded. There's a few local restaurants you can walk to on foot if you want, but not a big selection. The resort food was nice so no need to go anywhere else if you don't want to. We rented a scooter from a nearby place we walked to. It was fun to drive around the local area because there wasn't much traffic which made it easier. We drove into Ubud some but turned around after a while because it's just too busy. Get up go out and walk around and enjoy the fresh air and friendly locals. The staff are great, I could write a whole paragraph about them. They were very accommodating and helpful :)

Fresh air, rice terraces, Balinese people are very friendly and courteous. Nature, vegatation, forest.. waterfalls and temples. My husband and I stayed at Aksari Ubud Resort & Spa … this place is my personal version of paradise. Staff were very cordial… they aim to please … the resort has great amenities and awesome infinity pools. The entire place has wifi, room has smart TV with Netflix, the resort is clean and very well maintained and smells like aromatherapy (spa) with “zen” music..,

Its got some lovely attractions and sights. Its peaceful and quiet without being too remote. Spending time amongst the people here gives you a sense of what life in Bali is really like and not just what they put on for tourists.

Last time I came to Bali, I only stayed in Ubud.
Last time I came to Bali, I only stayed in Ubud. Tegalalang is only a short trip away, but it is so peaceful and absolutely beautiful. Waterfalls, rice paddies, jungle, friendly locals and you really can experience Bali here. I have never felt more grateful, free and alive. Make sure to rent a moped to get the most out of it!
The most amazing stay during our stay in Bali, 11/10! This place went far beyond our expectations. It was a magical place in the middle of the forest, you felt like in a dream, very different from any other hotel in any other country, you really feel you are in a "different" place when you stay at this hotel. The panoramic view of the forest from our terrace and from the infinity pool are the most spectacular we have seen. The room was very big and beautiful, with a Indonesian style, we avbsolutely LOVED IT.
We had an amazing stay at "The Papas Villas". The rooms are big and very clean, the hosts are very nice and help you with every question. The Rice terraces are just next to you , you can rent a scooter or a tour at the hotel. The view from the pool into the rice fields is amazing and you can see the sunrise in the morning very good.
We totally recommend this place!
Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice, cooked to order. Location is a dream in the middle of the jungle with view of rice terraces that you are free to explore. Villas are lovely, cleaned daily and they provide mosquito coils every night to keep them away!
Quite location near to rice terraces in Tegallalang. Beautifully view to rain forest and rice fields from the pool and our cottage. We can have breakfast on terrace of our cottage. I loved outside shower in bathroom. Staff can arrange laundry. Perfect.
