Nice, quiet peaceful location out in the middle of nowhere nestled within rice terraces. While the villa was far from the airport that's what makes it secluded. There's a few local restaurants you can walk to on foot if you want, but not a big selection. The resort food was nice so no need to go anywhere else if you don't want to. We rented a scooter from a nearby place we walked to. It was fun to drive around the local area because there wasn't much traffic which made it easier. We drove into Ubud some but turned around after a while because it's just too busy. Get up go out and walk around and enjoy the fresh air and friendly locals. The staff are great, I could write a whole paragraph about them. They were very accommodating and helpful :)

Magical place!!! Room view is amazing. We’ve stayed at the riverside room, with the private pool and jacuzzi. Waking up every morning to the forest and river view was unforgettable!!! The staff were so kind and welcoming. I even got a surprise birthday cake without asking!!! Special thanks to Erika and Ayu for making our stay so comfortable and unforgettable. I would definitely come back to Aksari next time I visit Ubud.

The location on the valley with the views, all the green, the height differences, its all beautiful and so serene. The staff is super, really friendly and helpful. The restaurant is good and although it's in a very quiet town there are still other nice places to go to doe dinner. We had the villa with private pool and we loved it

    Fresh air, rice terraces, Balinese people are very friendly and courteous. Nature, vegatation, forest.. waterfalls and temples. My husband and I stayed at Aksari Ubud Resort & Spa … this place is my personal version of paradise. Staff were very cordial… they aim to please … the resort has great amenities and awesome infinity pools. The entire place has wifi, room has smart TV with Netflix, the resort is clean and very well maintained and smells like aromatherapy (spa) with “zen” music..,

    Last time I came to Bali, I only stayed in Ubud.

    Last time I came to Bali, I only stayed in Ubud. Tegalalang is only a short trip away, but it is so peaceful and absolutely beautiful. Waterfalls, rice paddies, jungle, friendly locals and you really can experience Bali here. I have never felt more grateful, free and alive. Make sure to rent a moped to get the most out of it!

    A charming structure with a few cosy bungalows spread in a garden with views on the forest, but at short walk to the entrance of Ceking rice terraces. We were in a two rooms bungalows with a balcony, starting the day with the breakfast served on the balcony, watching the garden and the forest around was something we will remember. There is also a little pool where to refresh enjoying the view of the forest. Staff was very nice, we used also the laundry service, that was fast and at a honest price. Highly recommended.

    The amazing views, the bathtubs, the food, the staff! Amazing hospitality and the villa was in a great location- less than 30 mins from Ubud but far enough away to be seculded from the noise and bustle when you wanted to relax, yet close enough to go in to do shopping or to eat. Wifi was fast and reliable & villa was very clean and very comfortable! I could go on and on but the whole villa is amazing! Just dreamy! Ask Nyos, the manager, to take you on a rice terrace walk while you're there! Just beautiful!

    Amazing stay. A very kind, welcoming, and helpful Wayan. Everything was amazing from start to the end. Very clean swimming pool. Beautiful garden and surroundings. A proper air conditioner,which is hard in Bali. But our room was cold and perfect to sleep. That's very important when outside is so hot. Rice terrace is just across the road, with less (or no) people.
