Lake House has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Dunmanway. The bed and breakfast offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer, free toiletries and... This property is impeccably kept. The grounds are beautiful and the home is spotless. Susan and Gordon are lovely hosts. Every detail has been thoughtfully cared for by Susan. Their boxer Jake is so friendly and we loved walking around the lake with Jake and watching the chickens. We wish we could have stayed longer...every minute was heaven!
Featuring free bikes, a fitness center, and a shared lounge, Barnagowlane House provides accommodations in Barnagowlane with free WiFi and mountain views. The house was perfect very cosy with the heating for our arrival. The house has everything you could need, plenty of delph and cutlery perfect for big family get-togethers. Perfect location for touring West Cork. We were very lucky with the weather , we got to visit Mizen Head while here it was fantastic. Will definitely be staying again.
We had a wonderful time at the Lake View B&B. It is in a beautiful location by the lake which is so peaceful. Susan and Gordon were fantastic hosts, you must ask for the winter fruit salad recipe :) 100% would go back. Marc
It was convenient as our event was in the hotel. TV’s small, few programs available. Bar and restaurant staff excellent. Only bad experience was with the young man who checked us in. The rest of the staff were amazing.
Quaint, small town with friendly folks living and loving life. We wanted low key, relaxing locale as a base for day trip to another small town on coast. We felt safe to stroll town at any hour. Allowed us to feel immersed in small town Ireland life. We weren't looking for active nightlife and entertainment, just atmosphere. Spent 3 nights here and loved it. Kudos to adjoining Southern Bar and Pub for delicious Irish fare at moderate prices. Quite family friendly as we observed multiple young families with well-behaved children dining on different occasions. It was a pleasure.
We stayed in Dunmanway as we were taking part in an organised hike of St Finbarre's Way through the Pod Páirc and Walking Centre in Drimoleague. Staying in Dunmanway was convenient for us, being a short drive from the walking centre. It's a nice town and had everything we needed: shops, bank.
Dunmanway is not a very exciting place to visit, I did not see much to do in the town itself but travel out to surrounding towns. There are a few quaint old fashioned shops which I like. The people are friendly.
