I loved the location, quick to the airport but not busy like Dublin City Centre. Close to historical landmarks and great food onsite! Jeremy the bartender: fabulous with perfect sense of humor; locals were hospitable; we were sad to leave, but will be back!

Hotel was perfectly located for us near the airport.

Hotel was perfectly located for us near the airport. Staff at reception when we checked in seemed to have a bit of an attitude problem, not very welcoming. Had to pay to park our hire car there overnight, not had to do that at any Premier Inn in the UK before. Paid for Bed & Breakfast - Price was good for this. We were assigned a specially-adapted which we did not really need. Due to this the room was bigger than normal, the bed was lower and had walk in shower with hand rails/chair in it. After we showered, the water sat on the floor in the shower area and did not drain away. Had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was very disappointing. Had to ask for fresh fried eggs as those on the counter had been cremated by the hot lights. Mentioned this to a member of the front of house team, only for them to point at the eggs on the counter. I said I do not want to eat them as they have been out too long. She pulled a face and then walked in to the kitchen and said something to a man in the kitchen. He opened the sliding door near at the food counter and then pointed at the eggs. I then said to him, they have been out too long can I have some fresh please? He yanked the tray the eggs were on back into the kitchen. I waited a minute or so and he brought fresh eggs out and almost threw the tray out of the kitchen on to the counter! Wow. What was his problem? Overall the food very disappointing - We have stayed at many Premier Inn's in the UK and have always had great breakfast.

The hotel and restaurant staff were very courteous and friendly. The room was clean. And the bed comfortable. I got my wake-up call right on time which is important when you have to catch a flight. The tub/shower combination was difficult for me given some hip problems. A walk-in shower would have been a better option.

Swords is a bustling town with a reasonable range of shops and heaps of Cafes. Nearby Pavillions shopping complex is a very large mall with everything you need. Swoprds Castle in town is worth a visit but parking is a major problem in the township unless you carry cash. It would be so much easier if cards were accepted. Streets are narrow and can get congested.

Staying in Swords and getting into Dublin by bus will be the smartest approach you can take to visiting Dublin. Dublin is super busy, making driving a definite no-go. Swords Manor Express is definitely the way to go. Easy, quick and a nice ride.

Mary and Jimmy’s beautiful property was perfect for our stop in Dublin to watch the 6 nations international between Ireland v Wales. Superb family room, beautiful breakfast and the best hospitality from the owners. They couldn’t do enough for us. We have a 17 year old son with disability and Mary dropped us to either bus or train station every morning to book our daily travels and showed us around Swords and Malahide. Wonderful couple provided 1st class hospitality.

Great hotel near Dublin Airport with a restaurant. We stayed there as we were leaving early next morning for our flight.
