Very clean, spacious and in a great location. Plenty of space and a lovely dining room to relax and eat either an Irish breakfast or cereal, yogurt and juice. There is a nice lounge area if you want to relax on the sofa instead of your room.

The host was great. Friendly & personable. Turned on heat ahead of time. Offered coffee and tea in kitchen. We had two rooms. One large room in front, a small room in back. Both listed as king rooms. There is a toilet available in main area as well. There is plenty of parking and a nice garden.

We originally chose Thurles for its proximity to Cashel and...

We originally chose Thurles for its proximity to Cashel and availability of lodging within our budget range. Part of Saturday was spent touring the Rock of Cashel & Hore Abbey, a 30-minute bus ride from Thurles, If we would have known there was a Hurling event scheduled on Sunday, we would have stayed an extra night! We had a delicious selection of Thai food at YI THAI on Parnell St. The service was fast and friendly. The prices were very reasonable for the high quality of the food. Our second day we had a late lunch at Ryan's Daughter restaurant which closes at 5:30. The food was very good, however, my homemade dessert, apple pie with ice cream, was divine.

Very clean and quiet and plenty of space to park.

Very clean and quiet and plenty of space to park. Helpful, friendly host. Location easy to find from main route and only a few minutes to town of Thurles. Ate at a lovely pub and used the ATM in town. Easy to park and walk around town. Host even let us play her piano.

The hotel is clean and well located if you plan to visit Rock of Cashel, or have a pit-stop between Eastern and Western parts of Ireland. Also really close to Thurles city center. There's a big car-parking in the hotel area, and hotel's bar is open till late.

Fab hotel, staff and food but I think the security deposit is a bit steep and still haven’t gotten paid back into my account and it’s been over three weeks and also no warning about it when booking
