Ideally located in the heart of the historic town of Tralee, The Ashe Hotel offers free WiFi. It was just class. The location, the staff, the room, the food. But most of all the Guinness, so good to taste the real stuff again.
Set in over 6 acres of gardens and woodland, Ballyroe Heights Hotel offers free Wi-Fi, modern rooms with attached bathroom and impressive views across the Sliabh Mish Mountains and Tralee Bay. Best 3 star hotel I have stayed in
Set in pretty gardens, Meadowlands Hotel is a relaxing base less than one mile from the center of Tralee, and well located for exploring County Kerry. The fittings, decor, and standard of bed-linen etc were better than I've experienced in some 5-star hotels.
With luxurious modern and spacious guest rooms, this family-run hotel offers spa treatments and complimentary use of an 20 yard pool, whirlpool bathtub, sauna, steam room, and gym. room was clean, bed comfortable, breakfast excellent tasty and plenty of variety. staff very friendly
The Rose Hotel is a four-star hotel located in Tralee, located 0.9 mi from the town center with views of the Slieve Mish Mountains. Complimentary car parking and WiFi are also available for guests. Bedroom airy and beds very comfortable
Take a step back in time with a hotel steeped in history that offers luxurious surroundings within 30 acres of private gardens and woodland. Rooms were spacious decor gave a feeling of serenity beds very comfortable. Staff exceptional especially Tim in the bar (with Einstein) and Joe in the restaurant at breakfast couldn't be more polite and helpful. Food also was excellent

We lived in Tralee many years ago and found it just as wonderful when we returned. The hotels and restaurants are very affordable and well-maintained. Food is delicious. The shops are wonderful with so many bargains. Take a day trip to Dingle, Killarney, Kenmare, Sneem, Ballybunion and Galway. Tralee is a type of city that you want to return to again and again
We were visiting friends who we had not visited for 16yrs. Tralee is alot bigger than it was then. We were more out at our friends or on the Dingle peninsula. Ashe hotel good to stay at & eat. Kirbys Brogue inn good food
The room was nice and airy. It had two large windows that let in plenty of light and air. It was close to everything, especially a beautiful rose garden right across the street. The breakfast area was pleasant and the food very good. We walked to a fantastic restaurant called Croi...the steak filet was wonderful! I would definitely stay here again.
Lovely, clean town. Very friendly people. Plenty of shops and fabulous restaurants. Enjoyed particularly No 4 on the square, Cassidys, The Daily Grind and Croi. The National Folk Theatre is worth a visit as is the local museum. If no car the buses will take you to all of the nearby places of interest, such as Killarney, Dingle and Cork. The Train to Dublin.
Loved The International Rose Of TRALEE Monument and rose Garden. The entire park was amazing! The Bay, beaches and mountains, were breathtaking. I wish we had more time to explore. Great sea food along the coast.
The town was incredible. The scenery is breathtaking, and so relaxing for a leisurely getaway. The pubs in the Old Town are a lot of fun, and the locals are so friendly. Venture away from Jameson and you’ll discover even better whiskeys in those pubs. The drives in and around the city are fun and picturesque too if you’ve rented a car.
- This guesthouse is spacious, very cozy and a lovely decorated place with plenty of equipment (including washing machine and iron). We definitely weren't missing anything. - Samantha (the host) was the cherry on top. We went ill and she was so attentive and caring. She even made the effort to bring us soup and bought medicine from Tralee on a Sunday. To be honest, which host would do that? - Ring of Kerry nearby, and this lodge is very quiet and relaxing, compared to staying in a hotel in Killarney centre.

Staying in a castle was on my bucket list for Ireland. Ballyseede exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and luxurious. The staff so attentive. We arrived with an older guest using a walker. To my surprise the staff brought us a wheelchair to use for our stay. The pub was too full for her to navigate. The staff came through again and provided us with a dining table in the parlor. We joked we had our own private dining experience. Everyone agreed staying at Ballyseede was a highlight of our vacation.

The staff was very nice and the room was tidy and clean. Easy parking at the lot to the right of the hotel. There is a restaurant attached right next door so it was easy to pop down for a drink and dinner after a long day of driving. The Windmill was right across the street too!

After traveling in and out of hotels, this place feels like a home. A very relaxing place with friendly staff. If you're going to Killarney, stay here in Tralee and drive the 20 mins. It's worth it.

It was great to see Liz again. She makes everyone feel like family, prepares great breakfasts, and is a great source of information about the area. We won't take a trip to Ireland without visiting Liz.

Great location in Tralee in an old building with a lot of history. Large comfortable room with fresh new bathroom. We could park our motorcycles safely in an alleyway behind the hotel.

Everything about our stay at Ballygarry house was perfect. But what really stood out to both of us were the staff ... every single one we came across, from the restaurants, the front desk, the manager, the chamber maids all were genuinely happy and always with a smile. We felt like they really enjoyed working there. And the breakfast! GREAT ... buffet for cold items but waited on for warm and the food was excellent with huge portions.

Great place, the bar is located downstairs. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was big, clean with complimentary toiletries which I did not expect in a hostel. The breakfast next morning was wholesome, a full proper irish breakfast and the staff were really nice. Real value for money and more than what you expect.
