We loved the relaxed feel of Nimmu House, lying in the hammocks under the apple and apricot trees, taking a yoga class or exploring the area.

Stanzin organized for us a pickup from Leh and we were allowed to move into the room already in the morning. We appreciated very much that the room was well heated as the outside temperature was below minus. His lovely wife Tsomo had already prepared tea and we did not have to wait long time until she served a hearty Ladakhy breakfast. Tsomo is an excellent cook and spoiled us with delicious food - morning - noon - evening. The  tradionally furnished room was spacious, absolutely clean and has a stunning view to the snow-covered mountains. Stanzin and his wife are indeed fabulous hosts and we hope to be back in summer to do a trekking tour with Stanzin.
