Even though the pods are smaller than normal cottage as we know them, they are so cozy and warm, so for overnight stay, or just weekend out of the capital in a "tent" feeling I will and herby recommend Fossatun pods to anyone!

Located next to Lake Blundsvatn, this guest house is 15 minutes’ drive off Iceland’s Ring Road.

The cottage is located in a private area of the complex by itsself without any neighboring buildings which was nice. Its a short walk to the main building where the restaurant is. There is a troll walk nearby which is included with your stay. Its a fun walk which provides guests with fun facts about trolls along with some games to play. The breakfast was good and had a nice view of the river and waterfall. The cottage was comfortable and we had enough room for a family of four. The view out of the front of the cottage was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel Stafholt has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Varmaland. The hotel features a hot tub and a tour desk. At the hotel, the rooms come with a closet.

The bathroom was beautiful and the room was very comfortable.
