The location is amazing, just across the street from a very nice beach. Although there was not the possibility to have 3 people in a room or a connecting room, we were accomodated with rooms adjacent for our party of 2 adults and 1 child. The room decor was a bit faded but comfortable. The staff were mostly friendly, although we would have felt better if we spoke more Italian. The pool was small but nice, with towels provided and toilet and showers nearby. It was a comfortable stay in an excellent location if you want relative quiet. Anzio Colonia station is a short walk, and we were able to use the train to visit the more busy/urban area of Anzio.

Great service! We were pleasantly surprised that they waited for our check-in late in the evening, treated us with goodies and showed us to our room. Our time in this hotel was amazing, the staff did everything for that. Comfortable rooms with everything you may need and an incredible view of the sea from the balcony. Air conditioning, gels, towels, refrigerator, hot water, TV, good views and accessibility to everything, fresh products for breakfast and very tasty coffee. Good location near the beach and many cafes and restaurants around (be sure to ask the villa staff which one to choose). We were really happy staying in Villa Marina.

Hotel L'Approdo, Hotel Sirenetta, and Serpa Hotel got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Anzio.
It´s a small town, within walking distance, and everything you need is around the corner. We found the best hotel and also a bar/restaurant where we had drinks and dinner down on the beach directly on the sand.
Anzio is a quiet beach place with nice restaurants, a port , nice little shops and the historical ruins of Nero's palace at the sea. 50km from Rome it is the right place to stay if you would like to combine Rime visits and in between some beach breaks.
Anzio is a non-touristic, quiet port town. Decent beaches, both free and paid. A good starting point for hydrofoil travel to Ponza Island. From here there are hydrofoils that will take you there in an hour and a half. Other places only use regular cruise ships, but they offer a four-hour journey. There are many good restaurants with local fresh fish and seafood as well as local wines. A place worth staying for shorter and longer periods.
Pleasant surprise! We learnt that the beaches around Anzio are popular among people from the Rome region, so there are mostly local people. Long, very nice beach with clean water, shallow sea and fine sand.
if you want to stay near Rome and have the benefit of a cooler summer atmosphere and a beach holiday this it , far better than staying Ostia or Fiumicino. frequent trains air conditioned and an hours journey rome for targeted visiting.
Busy fishing and recreational port. The hotel was located only yards from the harbour and the centre of the town with cafes and restaurants. Nettuno is only minutes away by car as are all the cemeteries.
Anzio
The Ostello is very close to the Anzio station which is very practical; and despite this, the area is very quiet. You can reach the center of town and the harbor in less than 10mn walk. This is a very typical Italian house and it feels like proper holidays in Italy; I loved it! The owner is very nice and kind, ready to help and give you tips to where to visit and go. The place is very clean and also quiet. Barely not heard anyone. There is also a little garden outside if you want to sit and relax. I would definitely recommend it !
Nino is an excellent host. Location is very good: 3 blocks from train station (1 hour train from Rome Termini). Right infront the beach. 15 minutes walk to a Anzio center. Swimming pool in the last floor with Seaview were you can enjoy beautiful sunsets in the sea. Breakfast also served there. Room and bedroom very comfortable, airconditioners worked perfect. Shower works perfect. Quiet neighborhood.Ideal if you want to take some rest from the people and noise during your stay at Rome!
Amazing location right at the heart of Anzio. Both sides of the building have an amazing water view. One side overlooks the beach with a view over a beautiful single-story beach restaurant (il Ristorante Alceste), while the other overlooks the port where Laziomar ferry to Ponza docks. I loved sitting out on the balcony and watching the waves and city life of Anzio. We experienced exceptional service provided by the staff.
Anzio
The BnB is a beautiful villa in a quiet part of Anzio. Cornelia was a delightful host, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served on a lovely terrace overlooking the town and the sea. There is a peaceful pool area. We were able to use beach sunbeds at a discounted rate and Cornelia even invited my wife Sue to a complimentary yoga session. We could not recommend this BnB more highly!
It was right on the beach. The sound of the waves was idyllic and restful. Really comfy bed and pillows. Welcoming staff always attentive. Savory meals. We enjoyed walking on the beach so much. Free and safe parking. Simple but very comfortable and great value! Highly recommend!
Very friendly host and she was so helpful arranging car transfer from fumincino airport to Anzio. All very convenient with a key box, so despite arriving late we were still able to visit our favourite restaurant nearby.
Location was great for the beach and the train station just a short walk away. Trains are regular into Rome and takes around an hour. Fair is cheap too. But learn a little Italian, not many speak English in Anzio.
Anzio
This is a very nice place and our. host was excellent. The beach is near by. I would definitely stay at this place again. The apartment is very nice and the view of the ocean from the balcony is great,.
This place filled my needs/wants for Parking, Breakfast, Beach view, Friendly Staff and comfort very well! They even accommodated a late checkout.
The location was very convenient to the town, Anzio museum and beaches. Breakfast was served promptly to our room in the morning. Staff were kind.

Exquisite location, view and beach access, and proximity to Anzio Center while being calm and spacious in Anzio Colonia.
