The town is rich with the history of people who influenced Rome politics and culture for thousands of years. This bedroom community raised up the likes of Cicero and Gail Mario who influenced change in Roman history. The people are friendly. Excellent local restaurants and fine lodging. And home to the international Latin festival in May each year. We look forward to returning.
Very easy to travel around if you have a car. Beautiful, picturesque sites at every corner and friendly, down to earth people. Food is fantastic and plentiful, especially at La Torretta. We enjoyed every moment of our trip, and kept saying how much we missed Arpino while traveling through southern Italy.
Ideal for overnight stay if flying into Rome and heading south like us - 1 1/2 hour drive from Rome Fumincino Airport. Liked Arpino would liked to have more time to visit - also good location for a visit to Monte Cassino ...

Very hospitable, incredibly helpful and welcoming family. A big recommendation for everyone looking for a stay in this area. Even when leaving aside the awesome view and historical significance of Arpino, the BnB Marco Tullio Cicerone alone would be enough reason for a visit.
