    We loved Baunei.

    We loved Baunei. Especially the village itself up in the mountains. Close knit community. Friendly locals and gorgeous mountain views. We had expected to be in closer proximity to the Coastline. But Baunei is a hill top village.

    This small village is just recently explored by tourists, there are good restaurants and bars, beautiful panorama. Houses partly rebuilt and partly in bad, abandoned conditions. It is a perfect place for visiting Supramonte and its beaches.

    Baunei in itself is not very interesting, even though the view is splendid. And from here you can reach some of the most breathtaking places in the eastern Sardegna - Gola di Su Goroppu, Cala Goloritzè e Pedra Longa - and the beautiful beach of Santa Maria di Navarrese - and others.

    Stunning in every possible way!

    Stunning in every possible way! Everyone local we’re so friendly, we quickly Felt like a part of the furniture. Cafe centro was brilliant and we ate their often, and the gelato shop was incredible too. If you want somewhere with rustic authentic charm then this is the place for you! We did a boat tour to some of the beaches which was amazing and we hired a car so we could explore! I think one thing I’d say is that you definitely need a car when staying there as it’s so high up in the mountains.

    Baunei and it coast line is an amazing mixture of mountains and Incredible coast line. Either trek to Cala goloritze and further to take in the spectacular nature or book a guided boat cruise to marvel at the beaches and scenery

    Magical place. I felt I was on another planet.

    Magical place. I felt I was on another planet. It is paradise for people looking to experience local life as well as hikers. The scenery you can explore around Baunei is beyond your imagination. Just go asap :-)

    Whole hotel has great unique design. Modern with a Sardi ethno touch. We loved photo print of an old Sardi woman on sliding bathroom door. Many interesting ethno artifacts on the walls everywhere.. The kitchen is specious and well equipped, with great dish wear, good coffee available etc., but you have to bring your own breakfast.

    Nice and very modern guest house in Baunei. The room was clean and comfortable, there was a small balcony. Easy check in process, friendly staff. Room was cleaned daily. There are few off street parking places,but most of the time occupied,however, plenty of parking on the street. Beautiful location.
