The staff is amazingly kind and helpful in explaining what the best way is, to travel into Venice. He also pointed out some more unknown places in the lagoon to go and visit, which is really worth the extra 30 min of travel time by boat. Next time we are going to come here, we will return and stay at this property!

I was very impressed with Hotel Vienna and I would definitely stay again for my next visit to Venice. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room was bigger than I expected and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. Also WIFI worked in the room. The best thing I can say about the hotel is that it was place where I could relax. Location wise , it is very close to Venezia Mestre railway station. You need to take the passage underneath the station to come out the Marghera side and then it is a 5 minute walk. There is also a bus stop close to the hotel where the Number 6 bus is a 15 minute journey to the bus station in Venice. You can buy a bus ticket from a local shop who spoke English. You can't buy tickets on the bus. The shop will also sell unlimited travelcards to use public transport. In my opinion if you are travelling to Venice for the first time then it is better to stay close to Venezia Mestre train station and then travel into Venice.

You are only a shuttle ride away from Venice and Saint Mark’s Square when you stay at Belstay Venezia Mestre in Marghera, just off the A4 motorway exit. Front desk was very nice, we arrived 2 hours early, I inquired about the check in time (we were going to leave car parked and return), however, the young lady without asking or hesitation check me in, this made out plans to visit Venice so much better- they also held our bags for a couple of hours the next day while we went on a tour- great experience
