Very friendly and welcoming owners who make you feel at home. The location is excellent, and the breakfast was outstanding: truly at a five-star level. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Charming, beautiful, and clean. Kind and helpful staff. Walkable to the lake and a couple restaurants. Great views. Nice pool. Poolside drinks and snacks in the afternoon. Best breakfast for an affordable place.

Great value for money! The staff were very helpful and even upgraded for free our room to include a view of the lake. The hotel is in fact a hotel restaurant and you must try it cause it is very good. The breakfast was also good enough for a small extra fee. I totally recommend it for one or more nights stay.

The breakfast was great! When we checked in, we were asked what time we would like to eat our breakfast and an entire spread was awaiting us downstairs in the dining room! While Switzerland in general tends to be more expensive for traveling than other European countries, the value of this facility was well worth it. Everything was comfortable, the views spectacular and the proximity to the train station exactly what we needed. The staff went above and beyond, by holding on to our luggage for us, even after we checked out, as we had some more exploring to do the day we left.

A Hidden Gem on Lake Lugano. Villa Patria is a stunning boutique hotel nestled right on the shores of Lake Lugano — and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfect. The decor is tasteful , the location is unbeatable, and the views are simply breathtaking. One of the highlights was being able to walk just a few steps down and dive straight into the lake. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented But what made our stay truly special was Carmen. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made us feel completely at home. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back!

The views were spectacular, the building was beautiful and the staff were warm and gracious. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Ample public spaces inside and out for relaxation. The vineyards and castle were beautiful. Recommended as a romantic getaway.

Spacious room, big bed, very clean, good A/C

I didn't like nothing about the hotel.

We were upgraded to a superior room with a great balcony overlooking the lake. Excellent breakfast in a room again overlooking the lake. Nice touch that booking a participating hotel includes the local transit pass (Ticino) which gives free travel on the local train travel and discounts for things like the funicular to the San Salvatore summit.

The personal was very friendly. It is very close to Italy. Supper view.

Location, the view from our room was stunning. Anna from the front desk was very helpful. She told us that we can avail of free bus rides around Morcote. The free breakfast had a good selection and their cappuccino was excellent. We already miss this place, when we come back we will book this place again. Ciao!

The view and the staff service

The view was super and the staff were very supportive especially Maria. I can not express how kind and helpfull she is. Also the other lady with Maria is so kind too

Waterfront location and good access to the lake for swimmers. Functional, well equipped room. Considering the very hot weather, the addition of a roof fan to the air-conditioning was a plus.

Very calm place if you are looking for peace-nice gardens and unique design

Everything was great apart from outdoor pool which was closed.

The room was super clean, airconditioned and luxurious.
