Al Barilotto del Nonno, Hotel Eden Roc Suites, and Le Sirenuse got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Positano.
I almost didnt rent here because of the limited reviews. I found out later that this was due to it being new on the market. This place was AMAZING!!!!!! Stop searching for a place to stay and rent this now. Three separate bedrooms.. Could probably sleep 6 easily. Completely renovated.. brand new appliances.. showers... wifi.. flat screens. Modern brand new decor in the heart of Positano. The owners were so kind. Upon arrival they had a welcome note for us... AND the owners wife had left us homemade artisan gelato! The view was amazing. You can see the ocean... and breathtaking views of the town. They exceeded my wildest expectations. The only regret I have is that I did not stay longer.
Positano is very busy and very expensive. It may be be good idea to stay elsewhere and visit Positano. But , if you want to walk the roads or use the stairs and explore the place, staying there makes the most sense.
Positano is a great place to stay at. Not as busy as Capri or Amalfi City. Many good restaurants in Positano and bus was easy to manage to and from. The ferry companies are terrible with their schedules and ferry was at least 1-2 hrs off schedule. They are not clear on if they are direct or not. Taxi Drivers are not good with sticking to a price. They seemed to renagg a new price when we got there. The Roc Pizza and Steak was a beautiful place and food was great. Although the waiter asked for a tip when we were paying by credit card. That was kinda awkward and should be left private.
Gorgeous views and mountains etc. Very touristy / expensive restaurants generally and beach is sort of underwhelming. Generally expensive food, drink, gift shop items etc. A bit of a busy boat port too so not the cleanest water.
Great restaurants. Shop owners & workers friendly. Positano is very pretty and the cliffs unbelievable to see in real life. I think three nights is more than enough time to see everything and I would advise doing boating excursions from Sorrento vs Positano because rates are much higher in Positano.
Beautiful small town nestled in the side of cliffs overlooking the sea. Great place to relax, to eat amazing food, and to enjoy Italian culture. Best time to visit is right before the high tourist season (late April and early May) to avoid too many tourists and crowds.
Positano
Beautiful property, comfortable room, wonderful balcony overlooking the sea. This was one of our favorite hotels on our trip to Italy. The breakfast delivered to our room to enjoy on the balcony each morning was a highlight. Steps down to Arienzo beach club made it so convenient to spend time on the beach. Outside of the main busy area of Positano while still possible to walk down to restaurants and shops. Christian was very attentive and helped with anything we needed. Definitely recommend staying here!
Even though we had a "garden view" room, the garden overlooked the ocean and Positano with a gorgeous view. 250 steps down from street, so not for the infirm. The Porter takes luggage If driving MUST reserve MA.CRI Parking Lot for 40 euros per day. Hotel will make reservation. Rooms very attractive and good size. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful. Don't stay in Positano unless you are OK with lots of hill walking. If you are, it's beautiful and great fun.
Positano
We had an excellent stay at Casa Caprile. The room was clean and comfortable but by far the best thing about the property is the friendly and helpful staff, who helped us make the most of our time in Positano. Breakfast can be taken in the sister hotel (Il Gabbiano) just over the road - the views are fantastic here, such a nice start to the day! I’d recommend this place to anyone who doesn’t mind a short walk into the centre of Positano, who can handle some stairs!
The hotel was in a good location - slightly out of the hustle and bustle of the main beach strip of Positano, but still reasonably easy to walk everywhere. The staff were friendly, room was decently sized, nice hot water, comfortable bed, good balcony. The best thing about the hotel is definitely the beautiful view. You definitely pay for the location and when in Positano it’s very necessary to be in walking distance to everything as taxis are quite expensive.
beautiful hotel with large balcony providing stunning panoramic views of the sea from our charming suite …we were greeted with amazing hospitality from a wonderful family who owns and runs the hotel and provided us with a most memorable stay as I celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday with her on this very special mom/daughter trip! Highly recommend to others looking for a comfortable and classy way to vacation in Positano !
Positano
Clean rooms and common area. Very comfy bed, best in all our trip (we had 4 hotels/B&Bs). Balcony with amazing view (both the town and the sea). The amazing helpful friendly cheerful staff helped us a lot with reservations over the phone and gave good tips for traveling. The best restaurant we had in positano, regarding value-for-money, was in front of the hotel: "Saraceno d'Oro".
Positano
Casa Maresca was a dream come true for our honeymoon trip in Italy. It is easily the best place we have stayed in Europe and thoroughly enjoyed the view, the terrace, the proximity to restaurants/beach, and the cleanliness/up-to-date interior. The owners Lucia and Paul are incredibly welcoming, kind, and accommodating. If we were to redo our trip to Italy we would book Casa Meresca and nowhere else.
Positano
Best accomodation we have had on our trip away to Italy. Amazing staff that helped us with our luggage and any questions we had. Great breakfast that was brought to your room. The value was amazing for the location, view and experience. Only a 10 minute walk down the stairs to the beach and around a 15 minute walk back up. Would 100% stay here again if we return to Positano. Couldn’t recommend more.
The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel facilities were amazing. The room was huge with a beautiful balcony with a stunning view and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast had so many delicious options that you could sit there for hours. Definitely the best hotel I have ever stayed and for sure I will return there. The hotel Poseidon team made my stay in Positano memorable!
Everything was absolutely amazing! This hotel is top notch. The view from the room was stunning. It was walking distance to many great restaurants. The staff were as pleasant and helpful as you could ever hope to have. The breakfast they serve was probably one of the best in Positano. And the view from their outside tables could not be beat. I plan to come back.
Positano
This is one of the best hotels i stay at in Italy, the location, the cleanliness, the magic view, and most of all, we were hosted by an amazing kind person Antonio. He helped us a lot before the arrival on the way arounds, the luggage and recommendations in where to eat and go during our stay. Thank you Antonio for making our stay an outstanding experience.
Positano
Everything was amazing. The host was 5 stars with us from the start to the end. Always helping us, always caring about us and asking if we needed any help. The house is perfect, it has everything that you need and it has AC. The only problem is the amount of stairs you have to climb to reach the house but Positano is full of stairs. It was perfect.
Positano
We had an amazing time at Massimo’s property. Everything was exceptionally clean and comfortable. This was the best from the places we stayed in Italy, including more expensive hotels. You get a lot here including an amazing view. we are very happy we chose this place and would come back in a heartbeat!
Positano
5 STAR!!! Wow!!! this property made our trip!!! unbelievable views first class service steps from downtown Positano yet you have the beauty and quiet by being in the hills above the town. the owners/host were most attentive and gracious.
Location like all properties in Positano down steps & up hills - an idea when booking confirmed to tell visitors best way to reach hotel - I got these directions but only after I particularly asked by mail
The hotel is on a super location, it has great staff, very friendly and helpful. The views are one of the best you can get in Positano. Lots of great restaurants in the direct environment.
