Excellent location and views - high enough to get great views but not so high that you can’t get down to the main areas of restaurants by walking on the road (or the many stairs, if feeling so inclined). Very handy to have a pool in July.

The room was on the smaller side, but the balcony 100% made up for it. This was prime location, short walk down to the main beach and a couple steps up to the main road. Obviously there were times in the heat where the walk back up was rough BUT nothing like staying higher on the cliff.
I really loved this spot, very safe, clean and accommodating with check in, check out and LUGGAGE!

The tourism is what makes Positano have a heart beat yet the locals treat tourists with such disrespect.
“if you don’t accept 40euro to be driven 5min up the mountain to your hotel, the next tourist will” and they are proud of this.
The quality and standard of food and beverages is also uninspiring. They don’t put love into it and don’t care but will charge you a kidney for it. Think twice before choosing to stay in Positano. Beautiful to see but to commute up and down the Clyde is almost impossible without a car/scooter and you will pay through the nose doing so!

We loved Positano.
We loved Positano. Even during the peak season, It was relaxing and very enjoyable to have local food and see the boutique shops. We spent one day at and that was also beautiful with the views. Everyone was very friendly and kind. Lots of smoking, but that’s Italy in general.

If you don’t go in high season it might be enjoyable, but there were way too many people there which made it difficult to enjoy anything as you were always fighting the large crowds. At a less busy time of year it might be more enjoyable Also it was very hot which didn’t help.

Positano is beautiful but it is very busy.
Positano is beautiful but it is very busy. Hoards of day trippers getting off the boats. also eye-watering expensive 90 Euros for 4 drinks at the beach club. I would be happy to pay if the food was of excellent quality and the restaurants exclusive but it really is a tourist trap.

Positano is incredible.
Positano is incredible. One of the most beautiful places we have ever been. There is a lot of climbing to be done as the town is built into the hillside. It would be difficult for people who have mobility issues.
The location is amazing right on the edge of town with the best view (5 min walk to the busiest part of positano). The hotel has a private beach with sun loungers free of charge which is next to a beach club with a good vibe serving nice cocktails. It also has swimming pool facilities, the restaurant food is exceptional (although hot breakfast options could have been better), lovely wine selection and nice spacious rooms (with jacuzzi bath). Team are very sweet too. Parking cost is also reasonable and onsite.
Clean rooms and common area.
Very comfy bed, best in all our trip (we had 4 hotels/B&Bs).
Balcony with amazing view (both the town and the sea).
The amazing helpful friendly cheerful staff helped us a lot with reservations over the phone and gave good tips for traveling.
The best restaurant we had in positano, regarding value-for-money, was in front of the hotel: "Saraceno d'Oro".
we stayed one night at this airbnb and loved our stay! it is in a beautiful location right above positano. the hosts were so friendly and went out of their way to provide the best experience for us. we loved the view from the terrace - and the citrus growing outside filled the apartment with a wonderful aroma.
