Admire the panorama from your private balcony at Villa Gabrisa, a warm and friendly establishment set in upper Positano and boasting unforgettable sea views. Everything was absolutely amazing! This hotel is top notch. The view from the room was stunning. It was walking distance to many great restaurants. The staff were as pleasant and helpful as you could ever hope to have. The breakfast they serve was probably one of the best in Positano. And the view from their outside tables could not be beat. I plan to come back.

In the heart of Positano, the Reginella is a family-run hotel with just 10 rooms. Hotel was situated nicely just above positano about a 5-10 min walk to the front. Staff were great and very attentive - we left our luggage there before check in and returned with them being left in our room which was nice. Room was lovely, we didn’t pick any fancy room with a view but the view was actually nice looking at the mountains. Free breakfast was really good, you can choose as much as you like and it’s all included and they bring it up to you at a time of your choice in the morning to have on the balcony. Can see why this place gets the reviews it does because it deserves it.

WE enjoyed Positano because it felt more pedestrian than Amalfi. Boat service to surrounding locations is abundant but watch the weather forecast...rough seas means boats are cancelled. We were fortunate we went to Capri on our first day as boats were cancelled the second. We improvised with a taxi to Amalfi and it worked out great but the cost may be restrictive for some.
Positano is beautiful but when booking hotels or accommodation here make sure you know what your getting yourself in for. As I booked a hotel only 8mins from the main port perfect distance you would think until we got there and it was an mins walk indeed but with 400plus steep stairs to climb with a case we ended up walking back to the port and asking the porters to take out cases €10each case not bad. Visit Franco bar lovely view. The cocktails are €20each most of them anyways but there worth it for the view we got the front row and was a lovely evening make sure you get there early if you want a good seat as it opens at 5pm we got there just after 5just lucky there was a big group and we managed to bag a good seat as another couple left just as we got there.
It was our first time to Positano and we had an amazing stay !!! Sad to be home.. it is such a beautiful place the view are just stunning. I would recommend comfortable shoes as there’s a lot of walking a lot of steps. I wudnt recommend it for elderly or anyone with walking difficulties or people with infants unless you are fit enough to carry buggies up and down lots of steps. But that aside the food was great the weather is hot an the views are to die for.. lo Guarracino was our favourite restaurant highly recommend.. and Arienzo beach club in the day 👍🏼
Amazing beach and a really nice town. I could have spent all day walking through the nooks and crannies of the town but was busy enjoying the beach. It was a bit pricey for a seat (it cost about 25 Euro per seat with an umbrella + 5 Euro for a towel), but for the whole day it was worth it. There are other options as well, but we didn't have our own setup. We took a booking taxi from the airport in Naples to Positano and it was super convenient. The driver held a sign with my name so it was easy to find them. I will definitely do that again! There are ferries that go from Naples to Positano, but we didn't want to lug around our suitcases and it likely would have been about the same cost for two of us. From Positano it was really easy to hop on a ferry to visit other towns. We visited Amalfi and Capri on two of our days. We wanted to go to the blue grotto but the water level was too high. We will definitely be back to visit.
A fabulous getaway for a weekend from Roma. Loved the laid back ambiance, loved the soulful nature of the locals. Loved the beautiful landscape, it's absolutely breathtaking. And the food!!! just insanely delicious where ever I went.
So glad we booked here as Amalfi road was closed. Getting down to the beach was a test of fitness, coming back up even more so! Shops and restaurants were good, everywhere you looked was picturesque. Will be coming back!
We Booked the actual hotel and we got a house instead... a bit disappointed because we solely picked a place that had a pool and we paid much extra because they had a pool. Now the house was absolutely gorgeous breath taking views and all and anything you need was there. So we did stay 3 Extra nites. I would like mention Sarah the housekeeping lady was just such a happy full of positive energy and smiles... she made our stay even better. Overall happy but we didn’t get the pool and the hotel itself was advertised first when booking the room, but the house.
Super friendly and helpful staff. They have a great sense of humor and always ready with recommendations i.e. restaurants, points of interest, sites to visit etc. The room was great with all required amenities and a lovely terrace to enjoy a spritz/coffee etc. Breakfast included something for everybody's taste. Location is perfect with a great view. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel for easy access to the beach and back. However, use the stairs for a fun walk. Parking for the car has been arranged only 100 meters from the hotel.
Positano
Not only a very charming location on the hills above Positano with great view and breakfast but also a super kind and helpful host: Marco was available by phone at any time for any kind of emergency or problem. We had a few difficulties with our renting car. Marco even managed very quickly to get his cousin at 6 o’clock in the morning help us with our car otherwise we would not have been able to catch our flight in time. A big thanks again!
