Hotel Savoia has been in the family for 3 generations. It has a fantastic location in Positano, next to popular Mulini Square and 656 feet from the beach. We loved the property from the moment we walked in! Friendly staff greeted us. Our room had a view of the sea and a balcony. The bed was amazingly comfortable. We all loved breakfast with a nice assortment of croissants and pastries, bread to toast, boiled eggs and a great assortment of cheeses, coldcuts, vegetables and yogurts and juice. You are offered coffee and tea and the cappuccino was excellent too! Shops and restaurants are at your doorstep. I know a lot of people complained about the wifi, and it’s true it’s slow but our friends stayed at two other hotels and theirs were the same. We highly recommend this hotel!

The short hike to the Montepertuso 'hole' was a great excursion with some amazing views along the way. Overall Positano has great food, and most importantly a picturesque background that seems almost unreal! Great place and surroundings to relax and to just take a breath from the hustle and bustle of big cities.
an exceptional cultural, culinary and life experience. Getting around Positano is different and not for the faint of heart or those in a rush. If close encounters with oncoming vehicles on narrow streets causes you anxiety, it is better you get around by cab. Ate at a number of restaurants--you really cannot go wrong. a private boat to Capri is the way to go rather than the large tourist charter boats!
Loved Positano! So easy to get around, wonderful restaurants and shops! Loved eating down by the beach even with heaters on in the cool evenings. Buca di Bacca was our favorite with the most delicious homemade pesto pasta.
This is one of the most beautiful towns in the world. Anywhere you stay in town is an exceptional view. The shops and restaurants are all authentic and the town has the best beach in the Amalfi Coast. While the town is difficult to get to, this helps it from becoming overly touristy. Be prepared to hike, as it is known for its steps and small passageways throughout town, but the walking is worth it.
Positano is a fascinating place without offering you any special attractions, but enchants you from all points of view, scenery, restaurants with view, vood food, ceramics, friendly people. A special place that makes your stay even more enjoyable was a home cooking class ( you will find it on the site positanohomecooking.com) in a magnificent setting, great view, food all organic and superior wines.
Be prepared to walk straight uphill! Best € we spent went to the porter at the ferry (20€ for 2 large suitcases) The walk along the road winding uphill is hard enough without luggage. Once you get an idea of your surroundings take the local bus, saves a lot of time & money for you, very easy and if you aren’t sure the bus driver will help you. Positano is a beautiful place... I hope to return one day ❤️

The location was great and the view from the terrace was amazing. The room was clean and the bathroom was a decent size. The breakfast buffet spread was nice. They had some delicious pastries, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and deli meat and cheese. The breakfast was included in the price which made it an even better value. From the main beach, this hotel is 350 steps up. It was a nice way to get a little workout in. I plan on staying here again the next time I visit Positano.

The apartment I booked was quite big and spacious. The view all day was also amazing from our large balcony. The hotel provides drop off and pickup from Positano town with golf type buggy which really helped with us with our 3 kids after all the steps from the beach. Lastly, the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

I have traveled quite a bit and stayed in some lovely places. Villa Tre Ville is, far and away, the best property I have ever visited. The location is astoundingly beautiful. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets from each vantage point, overlooking the town of Positano, the Mediterranean Sea and the neighborhood boat traffic. The grounds are lavish -- fruits and vegetables grown on the premises are plucked for our meals, and guests are invited to sample these as they explore the groves and gardens. Private dipping pools and a jacuzzi invite you. A rocky out growth in the sea allows you a place to sun tan and take a dip in the ocean. Free boat shuttle service provided by the property takes you to the property's private beach and also into the town. And the food -- unbelieveable. It is fresh, delicious and plentiful. During our stay, Chef Luigi was presiding over the kitchen. He brought us fresh fish, the most amazing mozarella and boccacino I have ever tasted and many special treats, including a send off care package full of goodies. Truly, I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience here was.
