The room was always nice and warm, spacious and had a balcony. Daily cleaning services was a bonus, thank you! The hotel was very helpful with arranging a shuttle to the lifts, information on bus stops etc and most of all the family owned business allowed us a private ski instructor Matteo. Thanks Matteo for all the help as this was our first ski trip and me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed it! You helped us immensely and we were able to do a blue run or two, which I personally thought would only happen on our next trip. See you soon! PS, the staff, reception were all very professional and friendly, thank you! The every morning breakfast, WoW!

The staff at the attached restaurant is really welcoming and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. The location was quiet. In the same time, there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby at a walking distance. Breakfast was excellent and varied.

The staff were welcoming, courteous and quick to address my questions. For the times there were language barriers, the evening manager helped me by messaging his coworkers who were more fluent in English. This was extremely helpful since my Italian is limited. Using What's App is a nice way to communicate the needs of anyone who is not very fluent in Italian. Answers to any questions or concerns were prompt and there were follow up messages until an issue was resolved. Even general issues that didn't affect me directly were communicated. I thought that was a nice touch and enjoyed being informed. My double room was comfortable, clean, and secure.

A quiet village in the upper Susa Valley.

A quiet village in the upper Susa Valley. The educational walk through the Gran Bosco woods is very interesting, with visits to several cultural sites (the Ecomuseum). A visit to the Savoy fort of Exilles, just a few kilometers away, is also worthwhile.

Salbertand is a charming and quaint village. Here, time seems to have stopped somewhere between fairytale and poetry. The few residents are kind and friendly. In the village's only restaurant, simple dishes are shared in a spirit of conviviality and flavor.
