We loved everything! The family was so very welcoming, greeted us in person, gifted us wine, and even helped us find local places to eat despite our dietary restrictions. We had trouble with our GPS finding the home, and the neighbours were so kind redirecting us and then coming by to make sure we made it. We were sadly only there for 1 night, but we’re still talking about how heartwarming the kindness from our hosts and the community was! The suite is absolutely immaculate. We have high standards, but this home surpassed that. It’s beautifully decorated, full of charm and sophisticated character. Honestly, the photos don’t do this suite justice. We had a great sleep in the comfortable bed, and heard no noise at all. We cannot recommend this home - and these hosts - enough!

The STAFF. They went out of their way to ensure that I was as taken care of including taxis, advice on how early to catch a train, bringing me an entire lemon to help with my cough and bringing the umbrella down on my chair so I would not get a sunburn. These things made all the difference!!!!

I was a little thrown off when I first arrived to my room, seeing as though I believe this was a former convent, but the place grew on me quickly! It is in a great location, close enough to walk to all you need, but far enough away to enjoy the serenity, peace, and quiet I was hoping for. If you’re traveling with a pet, there’s a garden area right outside the front door that is lovely. Pets aren’t allowed in the dining area, but the staff set us pet owners up in a comfy side room so that our dogs could still join us. And the breakfast - it was fabulous! One of my favorite parts about my stay here was waking up to the delicious smell of breakfast. Actually, my number one favorite thing about this hotel was the shower! I’m not joking when I say they had the very best water pressure I have ever experienced. I would return just for the shower! 😁
