Hotel La Perla, Grand Hotel Tremezzo, and Hotel Villa Marie are some of the popular hotels in Tremezzo.
Once we learned that we needed to take the ferry each night across the lake, we had to plan accordingly to the schedule, so that we didn't get stuck across the lake. That added a little pressure each night. It was also fun at first - using our ferry as our "cab". There was an additional 20 minute walk home late at night, once we got off the ferry. It was difficult to find breakfast nearby, so we always took the ferry across for breakfast and lunch too. We would have liked to eat the Grand Tremezzon Hotel, but the costs were ridiculously high for what was offered.
Lake Como is wonderful. It is a must to go on the water by boat, rental or bring one you own (we did). There are many things to see. You can also walk the Greenway along the lake and walk in the mountains. Or visit the gardens.
Nice village tucked between the lake and hill. Casa Aquadulza is a great restaurant away from the road with a great outdoor space. The ferries run regularly to all parts of the lake so it's easy to get around without driving. The greenway passes straight through Tremezzo so walking paths are well posted.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location is on top of the hill overlooking the lake, brilliant spot to relax and have a breakfast and dinner.I would definitely recommend this property if you want a quite and tranquil place to stay in this area.
Location is great, close to Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbianello. Bellagio is just an easy boat ride away. Little train can be used to go from Lenno to Menaggio. We stayed 6 days and almost never used our car. Lots of restaurant options in Tremezzo
Local ferry and boats to access any part of the lake with ease. Local restaurants including, Red and White, La Locande, Helvetia, Azelea, Hotel Bazzoni, Rodrigos are all lovely. Cantina Follie is an excellent wine bar with an extensive wine list, wine tasting and fresh cuts and various cheese, book a table here to avoid disappointment and don't let the steps put you off!
La Perla was just a perfect choice. We loved everything about this hotel. The personal touch, friendliness, beautiful rooms, swimming pool, balcony/terrace, perfect breakfast, good snacks and diner, everything is superclean. The owners and employees are very polite, friendly and caring to their guests. We loved how quiet the hotel is situated, far from the busy traffic and crowds but close enough to Tremezzo. And then af course the beautiful view at Lake Como... We cannot think of anything that was not great about La Perla.
The owners and staff were absolutely amazing. We brought our husky with us and he was taken out and walked when we had long days out. We also celebrated our daughter’s 4th birthday while we were there and she was presented with a little toy Vespa on the morning of her birthday. We ended up having dinner there every single night because the food was amazing, the views were stunning, and the wine list had some amazing selections. We used the pool twice, were so grateful for the parking, and would go back in a heartbeat!
The decor and luxury of the hotel was over the top! One of the top 5 hotels I have ever experienced. The meticulous landscaping, the color schemes, fabrics and furnishings, views at every turn, exquisite breakfast, linens, bath soaps and shampoos--all were top notch and beyond. We could not stop taking pictures. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. There is a clay tennis court, a pool extending into the lake and another lovely pool in the back of the hotel, which we liked even better.
Tremezzo
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mara is very sweet and provided us with recommendations for places to eat as well as somewhere for our children to swim. It has an amazing view from the apartment that you can enjoy at any meal of the day. The kitchen was a full size kitchen with gas stove. The apartment is very spacious and comfortably fit our family of six. It’s a short walk to the lake, and easily to access a ferry to go to another village around the lake if you would like to.

The apartment is cute and spacious with an amazing view of Lake Como and Villa Balbianello. Easy public parking access, Tremezzo is a great area to stay that’s a more home feeling. Apartment was very modern and super clean! I will be recommending this property to friends.

Silvia made us feel like home from the day the reservation was made. She sent us recommendations for things to do and restaurants to visit. She and Caterina, her manager, met us at the parking lot and helped us with the luggage and the keys. Her property is kept emaculate and we enjoyed a few days there. We had a great picnick in the garded. I highly recomend this house.
