Absolutely gorgeous home! As a westerner, the traditional japanese style was breathtaking. This home is very spacious for 2 people and there were so many incredible details to the property. Best of all, our host, Mizuho went above and beyond to help us with our stay. We took the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route to Nagano early in the morning on the day we checked out. Mizuho helped us plan out our journey and she offered to drive us to the train station very early in the morning. It was very generous of her and made our trip through the route possible when we had trouble scheduling a taxi. She is a wonderful host and we had a fantastic stay.

Perfect location right next to the train station.. Good wonderful amenities. Just beyond what I expected. They even have a lounge with coffee/tea, massage chairs and Japanese comic books. The selection of shampoo and conditioner is amazing. I like the warm towels provided at the lobby. The room was decently sized and big by Japanese standards. Everything was new and clean. Breakfast was also great.

I booked this hotel because my friend enjoys onsen, and it completely exceeded my expectations! The entire hotel is tatami (traditonal Japanese flooring), so you leave your shoes in the shoe lockers near the front desks. The hot springs were so nice- the staff give everyone information on how to properly use the facilities, so don't worry if you aren't super knowledgeable. The front desk also has patches to cover small/medium sized tattoos- if you are unable to cover your tattoos you are not allowed in the the hot springs. There was also free ice cream for after your bath. Breakfast was also great. All around, I highly recommend this hotel of you don't mind being a bit away from the station.

Toyama Excel is just a 3-minute walk from JR Toyama Train Station. It offers a daily breakfast with fresh fruits. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property.

The staff were considerate and friendly. The hotel is right in front of the station but the price was very reasonable.
