Everything was exceptional! Driving to this place made us a little apprehensive, but after parking, the warm inviting ochre stucco walls and noren entry allayed all concerns. This a consumate Japanese fusion experience. Everything from the engaging reception to the artfully refurbished room and personal hinoki bath meant pure relaxation. Then there was the dinner which unfolded like a traditional Kaiseki meal, but contained the most inventive and delicious dishes. Oishikatta!

The room is one entire container, which felt very spacious and private. The rooms are well equipped, cosy, and very quiet. The on-site laundry is super easy to use and convenient, and staff were very kind and helpful.

Perfect location for our stay. The women's hot spa was clean and perfect. I used it both nights of our stay. Breakfast was a little confusing because we just walked in without anyone to greet us. However, we enjoyed the breakfast food.
