The location is stunning. We booked a room with an ocean view and it did not disappoint. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel packed us bento boxes to take with us on hike. We made good use of the shoe dryer in the room too since we got soaked on said hike. Our stay was a bit of a splurge for us, but it was well worth it. The staff spoke English and we were able to fill in any gaps with a translation app.

Yakushima Green Hotel is a 3-minute drive from Anbo Port. It offers Japanese-style and Western-style rooms with ocean views. Single rooms without ocean views are also available.

The warm preparation for guests who have just finished the courses. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fair enough. There's a mini store to buy fruits and drinks just located opposite the hotel.

"Shared bathroom" means "Public Bath", ONLY! Staff speaks very little English. Room had a funny smell. The japanese style room is authentic, otherwise rooms are sparsely furnished. Hot/cold water machine, unlimited tea, optional bento box.

A very short walk from the airport. Host-San is lovely. She’ll help you figure out what to do on the island and how to get there! Very very friendly and kind. There is a bus, and with help, you can figure out which one to take and at what time. My only suggestion would be if you can rent a car, do so. The bus does visit a lot of locations. But a car would make the experience a lot better. Especially if you only have a day or two

The location is most convenient: next door to supermarket and Toyota rent a car. Ferry is five minutes walk away. The place is super clean and beds are comfy, looks pretty new. Our room smells of new tatami. Not sure but looks like Japanese ikea style. Washing machine available and free parking.

Oyado SORARURI is set in Yakushima, 17 km from Yakusugi Land, 28 km from Shiratani Unsuikyo, and 10 km from Yumiyahachiman Shrine.

We had a lovely stay with Tomoko at the Soraruri. She took our booking at very short notice. The room was clean and spacious. There is a lovely common area and kitchen. Tomoko was very accommodating. I would recommend.
